So much great potential in this game, especially as a fan of "Fleet Command" I bought this game on a impulse.

So far so good, but I have some issues that:

1. Not having a mission editor is crazy.
2. AI is super stupid. I have played one game so far "Flashpoint Kevlakikeiaierdaj" I played as the Russians. Annoyed that they did not already have any CAPs noticed that the scenario started in a nice tidy emcon state but quickly realized that the game decided the Russians did not need any AEW aircraft. Fine, even though they already use helicopters in that role. So one of my subs starts getting harassed by a helicopter. I go and shoot it down. While evading the torpedos my sub stumbles upon the NATO fleet. 15 torpodeos later the pride of the British Navy is on the ocean floor. The AI lost the helicopter assigned to hunting my sub and simply gave up. Maybe they are there and just didnt find me but I would assume there would be some NATO attack subs in the area.

3. Why the hell could I not finish the job, why force me to quit?

4. Stealth is super way too effective. Stealth aircraft are not as stealthy from all angles, the PAK-FA is supposedly much less stealthy than the Raptor or F-35 this does not appear to be evident. Also the Russians magically developed tremendous LPI radars, whatever if you just used the current situation the game would be horribly imbalanced.

5. Russian Stealth UCAVs that look just like US stealth UCAVs again, annoyed but whatever.

6. The NATO battle group had no problem intercepting all of my 32 klub missiles before they ever posed a threat. I am skeptical of the high rate of effectiveness of ships against super sonic anti ship missiles.

7. No one playing or multiplayer or is it broken?

8. Formation system is annoying as all get out. Just let me disable it. 1 jet 1 icon please.

9. Great game btw, glad i purchased it.

P.S. The home screen looks ghetto as hell, way too low res. Also, make some background radio noise or something the game is disconcertingly quiet.

As to the lack of a mission editor, be patient, one will be added later. As for the same 3d model or multiple units, more models will probably be added later. In response to your griping about your precious Klubs being shot down, you just didn't plan well enough. The Daring class destroyer sports the most sophisticated air defense system in the world, so this situation is completely realistic.

Maybe China hacked the U.S. and stole info and the Russians bought it. We already have confirmed reports of stolen defense information so it's perfectly possible. ;)

If there is a sequel to this game set further in the future, I think China should be a big player since they are getting a good economy to have better stuff ready in coming decades if they really have stolen advanced info. They already have a big navy, just not as advanced, but that may well change. They have also been pushing more out-of-territory operations, so I think that would only continue as their economy booms and oil reserves decline.

Also, gamebalance >> history, as has been repeatedly stated.

I too felt a bit disapointed with this game. Coming from a 'fleet command', 'dangerous waters' etc background, i felt that NWAC lacks some very, and I mean VERY basic things. In fleet command you can toggle aircraft deployment time between realistic and instantaneous. In realistic mode it can take an hour to fully deploy/retrieve aircraft. IN NWAC its not like that, aircraft simply take off instantaneously and there is no option to correct that.

THe game looks good, but so far, it is inferiour to "fleet command". And we're talking about a very old game here.

I lost the Astute to ASROCs (I think - it all happened so fast :) ) and I still have no idea where they came from, except that there was a message that we were receiving active sonar. The active sonar though doesn't seem to do anything to give away the pinger's location though, as it would in real life.

For years i have played jane's hunter killer, sub command and dangerous waters.
I also play Silent Hunter 4 with a ton of mods with modern day ships and subs.

So you can bet i was counting the days to play this game.

I like to stalk the enemy take my time even if it takes me days. In this game i have to rush everything.

Because of no save feature and no mission editor this is a total killer for me :(

I'm not complaining about the game itself, it looks ok it has great potential but the no save feature?? I really really don't get it.

Will there be a save game feature?

It is becoming increasingly common, nowadays, for a game to be launched to the store before it is finished. Then it is up to the player community, sometimes with the developer`s help, to actually get it right. NWAC seems to be another example.

With some things (actually not so few) correcter, this game has potential to be as good as jane`s games. But as for today it is not.
