Animation missing for ASROC, torpedoes appear near the submarine but normally you should display the launch animation as for any missile and then the missile flight until they drop in the water near the sub.

True. We've been a bit lazy (or overworked) with the Asrocs as they were added very late in the process. We'll come up with an improvement at some time.

I was also rather dissapointed when I finally got a chance to fire some of these only to notice the same as claudiucojo did. For some reason they're one of my favourite weapons and getting to watch the missile fly off and then drop its 'gift' is always a real pleasure.
Heh.....gift.....ASROC is one of the more interesting weapons of modern times. I am also a big fan of the russian anti-submarine rocket launcher, or mortar, how over it's officially named. A video posted on the beta forums IIRC showed a fairly new Russian Navy warship and a demonstration of all the weapon systems. It reminded me of a circular BM-21 Grad that automatically loads itself after each salvo. Don't know why, but I just love it!!!
