" With Joseph Kilpatrick's formation of a government, we must sadly reflect on the past... When the U.S.A started dissolving, their was a lot of crime, especially in the rich, historical districts. Families torn by violence with the Army, looters and rebels. Joseph Kilpatrick saved us from this madness. He brought the Police of each county starting in Charleston to bring down these crimes. Night patrols, save havens, and police searches were implemented under his direction. By December 1982 the United States armed forces were gone. Soon the chaos was brought down significantly, and not as many safety precautions and police were needed by February 1983. People started returning home, reuniting families and jailing criminals. Peace is all we hear on the streets these days, clean ups have been issued by in each county one by one. One man, President Joseph Kilpatrick he did this for us, for our new nation!"

Executive Order 5001
By all powers invested in me, I, William I, Prince of New York, Count of Long Island, Ruler of the Lower Hudson, and Regent of New Jersey, hereby put announce the creation of Executive Order 5001.
The following, under the powers of I, William of New York, shall be immediately put into effect, with acknowledgement by all nearby powers of the region:
- All land to the west of the Hudson River shall not be occupied or claimed by any other regional power;
- All land to the east of the Susquehanna River shall not be occupied or claimed by any other regional power;
- All land in the former state of New Jersey shall not be occupied or claimed by any other regional power;
- All lands within the borders aforementioned are rightful territory of the Principality of New York;
- Any and all nations that fail to acknowledge these rightful claims should consider themselves in a state of war with the Principality of New York;
- And the cessation of the county of Fairfield in the former state of Connecticut to the Kingdom of New England
Thusly, this document, Executive Order 5001, is now officially made into law.

The Creation of the Sublime Republic of the Great Lakes
As much of the country descended into anarchy there was one area that retained much of its order, the Upper Mid-West. A general dissent was large avoided in this region thanks to the region's Midwestern Values. It was their belief in hardwork, honesty, and sense of community that banded the people of the Sublime Republic of the Great Lakes and is what is believed to be that nation's greatest strength. It was under the flag of these beliefs that the people banded together and worked to retain stability in the region. Its people believe that it under this banner that they can reunite the fractured union, at least perhaps in the Midwest.
As such most of the civil government remains from the pre-civil war days, though die to changes in territory some states and districts are smaller in the past. The current president of the Republic is Lee S. Dreyfus the former Governor of Wisconsin, noted for Reaganesque policies.
The young Nation currently has two states, Wisconsin and Illinois based on the states before the civil war started. The capital of the Nation is in Milwaukee and the state capitals are Madison and Chicago.

The Chesapeake Confederation formally invites the city-states existing on the Delmarva Peninsula to join our great nation; should you join, you will enjoy the autonomy you presently have, whilst having greater protection, both in trade (our navy will maintain the safety of the Bay) and from outside threats. Those that choose not to enter into the Confederaction are still welcome, and indeed, encouraged, to begin trading with us. Let the wealth of the Confederacy bring the rest of the Bay, and the former Union, great prosperity!

The Kingdom of New England
The failures of the federal government of the US in recent years hit New England extremely hard, the entire region was in a semi-anarchic state and its economy struggled thanks to bad administration and corruption.
With the breakdown of the union, the people of New England started to distance themselves from the ideals of democracy and republicanism, leading to several authoritarian factions forming and trying to gain power, chaos and blood occupied the streets of Boston, and families were torn apart due to opposing ideas, it was during that time that Arthur Beaufort, a young man aged 26 and once a patriot and proud soldier of the United States, decided to take an action to end the chaos on his dear city, with the proposal of a new, centralized and religious state on the territories of the old states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
With these ideas on mind, Arthur rallied the biggest ammount of soldiers possible in order to restore order to the region, proving to be a capable commander and administrator, he destroyed all resistance to his regime change on Boston, and crowned himself King and absolute authority of the new Kingdom of New England under the name of Arthur I Beaufort. Following this some regions around Boston quickly were captured by troops loyal to the King, who followed his victories with a campaign aimed at his northeast, conquering almost all of the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island by February 1983, with his new found power he seized many private institutions and used them to fund his programs to rebuild his Kingdom and fund his campaigns on the North, hoping to turn New England into an extremely industrialized region, much richer and powerful than any of the other independent states in the region.
The people under the flag of New England are extremely anti-republican and favour the current absolutist regime, all caused by the many failures of the republic, that lead to a general distrust of said form of government.

-----I accept the New Yorker offers of friendship and sign the defensive pact. Similar governments such as ours must unite on these times of crisis, and we hope that both of our independent nations may find success into avoiding the excesses of the old, Republican regime.
Lastly, i demand that the remaining independent cities on my claimed areas surrender now, there's no need for brother to fight, let's unite and turn New England into a force respected by all!
However, if the cities do not surrender, i will find myself forced to act, i will not allow inefficiency to rule my brothers, and for that i must ensure their protection.

Executive Order 3001

As to this Executive Order, the following military numbers shall be put into effect, for the expansion of the Principality's borders, for the upholding of law and order in the territory of the Principality, and for the protection of her people and territory from aggressive foreign states:
- 20,000 men organized into two divisions (2 Army Groups), to be recruited as volunteers;
- 10,000 men organized in one division (1 Army Group), to be consripted;
- And several frigates and destroyers (1 Naval Group), to be constructed over an extended period of time
Thusly, I make Executive Order 3001 an official order from the desk of the Prince of New York.

The Free State of Carrvia
After the Federal Government fell, a mixed group of libertarians, both right and left, rose up from the ashes. Their leader, a man by the name of Jefferson Carr, called for the panic to cease and for a meeting to be held in Rochester to decide the fate of the surrounding area. The people decided to form a new government, based roughly on the old government of New York State, with Rochester as their capital. The new nation was deemed the Free State of Carrvia, after the organizer of the new government, Jefferson Carr. Elections were held shortly after, and the predominately left-wing of the libertarian movement took power. The new economy was now to be run through a series of workers' cooperatives, which would be relatively free from government control as a compromise towards the right libertarians.

People of Carrvia, our stand here is shaky. To many, it may seem that the world has collapsed. Let me tell you that it has not. This is a new opportunity, a chance to start fresh. We will pick up the pieces where we can, and where we can't we will create whole new ones. Democracy has prevailed, and will continue to prevail. The idea of a society and a government of the people, by the people, for the people has not died. Neither have the principles of the Founding Fathers that led us this far. So I beg of you, members of the new Carrvian nation, stand with me against authoritarianism!
On another note, I would like to accept the hand of friendship offered by the Chesapeake Confederation. United in liberty, we shall stand!
We are happy to see that the Free State has been established without the blooshed that has been the mainstay of most the other nations being formed. I would gladly like to begin an open trade agreement with the Chesapeake Confederation, as well as coming together in a non-aggression pact to hopefully promote peace and to never bring our respective soldiers to the field of battle against one another.

The Second Republic of Texas
When the Federal governments collapse became apparent, the representatives of Texas convened on Houston, issueing a second declaration of independence. While the rest of the US crumbled, the new Republic of Texas survived relatively well. The explosion in the price of oil boosted the income of the state, enabling it to maintain public services and uphold the law for a lot longer than its neighbour. Eventually though, the collapse of the US started to hit the new Republic hard. Trade dried up, funds began to run low, while her grip over much of Texas weakened. Today, the Republic of Texas only maintains control over her capital, Houston, the cities of Austin and San Antonio and their surrounding areas.

The Second Republic of Texas declares that the former US states of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico are the Republics sovereign territory. Infringement by any nation on this territory shall be considered an act of war. We ask that people and independent cities of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico to join with us, cooperate and uphold the light of Liberty.
15-25,000 men shall march to El Paso to restore the authority of the Second republic. They shall then proceed to march to Albuquerque to restore order. 15-25,000 men shall march north, restoring order and authority to Dallas, Fort Worth and Oklahoma city.

Umm Can I play as the Mexican Army of Intervention? A Limited Republic style Government based on the Open Regions of the Mexican Border.
The Idea is that Mexico has formed an Army from Pro-Mexico Americans who have recrossed the Old border to restore Order and Form a Pro-Mexico Government.

OOC: But In principle the Idea makes Perfect Sense. Why would Other Semi-stable Governments just let the Americans Fight it out. They can't tell what kind of America they would End up with. It would make sense for them to Train and Equip Locals a Force of Pro them Locals to try and influence the Conflict so that a Government favourable to there Interests emerges in the end.
