The Rise of An Army
The creation of the Armed State of the West began, in a sense, in early 1982 with the passage of the Guardians of Freedom Act passed by the Arizona State Legislature in February of 1982. This act was passed in large part by the aggressive anti-immigrant feelings of the new governor of Arizona, Andrew Farkins. The law allowed the governor of the state to use the National Guard to as a type of second police force, with the intention to be used to fight illegal immigration. However, Governor Farkins used the law for much more than that, turning the state of Arizona into a Police State, with intervention from the federal government not occurring due to its impending collapse. In the chaos following the government's collapse, Governor Farkins took swift action, sending the National Gaurd to capture Southern California and the Area around Las Vegas, as well as abandoning all pretense of representative government and forming the Armed State of the West. He now rules as Generalissimo Farkins over his subjects in the Southwest, ruling with an iron fist and from the barrel of a gun.
The Armed State of the West will be sending military units to the city of San Francisco to bring this area under our control. Those who do not follow instructions given to them by a soldier in the Western Army will be shot. By the end of June 1983 50,000 men from the city of Los Angeles, 40,000 men from the cities of San Diego, and Phoenix, 30,000 men from the city of San Francisco, and 10,000 men from the city of Las Vegas will enter the Army. Failure for over 90% of this number of men from each of these cities to enter the Army will lead to the Literal Decimation of any disobedient city.
