I hope they do continue to bug fix and provide DLC.

And although I haven't played much recently it is a game I will continue to play for many years, just like I do with MoM. It has that "je ne sais quoi" appeal other games don't acquire. It must be the combination of city development, fun battles, magic and heroes to develop and equip that scratches a gaming itch I've always had.

If the AI could live up to the rest of the great game this will be one of the classics. Just like HoMM. I play one of those games for a couple of days every couple of years, and have done it since heroes 3 came out in -99. I really hope Masters of the Arcane will get to that category. We just need a better AI so there is a real challenge in single play.

Hi all! I'm sorry for not being here all that time. We are working on a big DLC, but will soon bring you new patch that will add new functionality, like trading spells with other mages in Diplomacy, cities and units overview screens, mana refund when casting spells on your territory and others. Work is almost done here, and we are waiting for localisation, so you will get it really soon.

Thanks for the info. I think everyone is just happy that you guys are working on new DLCs. Looking forward to it.

Good to hear from you, now don't be a stranger! Also looking forward to the big DLC. Can anyone make an educated guess as to what the new DLC will contain? Some of the more knowledgeable people here have taken a peek at the coding.

Thats very good news. I hope we will see also improvments on Multiplayer. A ranking system would be great!

Great to hear! This is actually a great game and a pleasant suprise for us strategy nuts. It was disturbing to think it was going by the wayside as abandon-ware. I look forward to your new content and you can look forward to more of my hard earned $$$...heh

Super you made my day ! This game is outstanding and each patch / DLC adds to the polish. This is a true work of love and I am looking forward to pay every single DLC you can think of.

What is a "BIG DLC" ?

I do think we shouldnt bother them with unnecessary questions as they most definitely cant tell beforehand - if they could, they actually would :)

Im more concerned if AI will ever start utilizing temple units, or get more aggresive with town spamming + going to otherworlds. It would add immense value to gameplay. Lets hope devs will care for this game as much as they did for Fantasy Wars/Elven legacy wchich had 4 quite big dlc :)

And im hoping even more they will start interacting a bit with fanbase, because without word from them we can go very crazy and mad with guess :)

I can just hope you keep at it for a bit. There hasn't been a TBS like yours in quite a while. (The last i remember was Fantasy Wars and before that, a long time of nothing) I really, really love how you have the Tactical combat on the Strategic Map and the terrain modifiers and such.

Warlock has a guaranteed place on my HD for many years to come and i hope you guys will not stop working on it for quite some time :)

Or with other words. You keep the good stuff coming and i'll be happily throwing money at you and this title :)

Just like the rest of the folks and fans here have said, keep up the great work! Your game is fantastic and I for one have purchased all the DLC and will continue to do so. As will the great majority here will no doubt do as well.

Joygasm.

And further to that joygasm, the obvious bet is that the DLC=DWARVES.

Instead of giving us your standard Timotei-people blonde and tree-hugging elves, they gave us some kind of bad-ass drow types. So will Alexey and Co. give us some interesting take on Dwarves? Duergar? Or beardless, tall-ass dwarves who hate axes and love water? PACIFIC AQUA-DWARVES! Hopefully not. Hopefully it's a reasonably conventional take on dwarves, with an emphasis on siege weapons.

Personally, I'd love something weird from old school D&D - like the Githyanki or the Illythids. The other good bet might be Demons, of course.

Yummie!!

If the dwarves (or whoever its gonna be) ain't as strange and imbalanced as the elves, it will be fun. Heck, it will be fun, anyways! GUI improvements ftw!

But one the other hand, I would like to shell out more than a few bucks to get a real big DLC with decent AI improvements. I know, pretty much every game nowadays lacks a good AI but this "project" (low budget kinda style thanks to reusing [majesty] content) makes me hoping that some day, there will be a challenging AI somewhere ;)

Hello,

Ah dwarves... the obvious choice, would be welcome, but a bit more of the same isnt it?
I don t think a new race would be classify by alexei as a "big" dlc, this must be more than that.
Some goog assumption could be:
- to be able to colonise the bottom of the sea with an aquatic race starting in there. (lizard men here we come ? with chutlu like leaders ? and/or pitattes of the caribean underwater zombies ?)
- or a robotic race starting on the moon would be cool (I already proposed that, think "mars attack", "war of the worlds tripods", "robby the robot" of lost in space, basically the pulp fiction of 50's and 60's out of flying saucer). This is a bit the same idea of the "Dwemers" robots in the "Elder Scrolls" both tend to merge well in an heroic fantaisy framework.
Well time will tell. This game has so much potential
