The spanish king speaks of a rather..."peculiar" invasion of the muslim faithful.Had he known better,he would have understood that the muslims had been a peaceful people until the "holy" christian crusaders had decided to attack the muslim faithful with their reason being as "not being tolerant"when rather the arabs and the turks were the most tolerant people on the land. Therefore, when making such statements, the Spanish King should watch out,for the fury of Allah shall destroy him.

OOC: I need to see the result of my War Orders before I can IC.

The Ottoman King must be insane, is "jizya" an example of your tolerance? Taxes for any non-muslim?
Futhermore, were not the muslims who conquered Egypt, the Holy Land, Asia Minor and North Africa from the christians?
The muslims built an empire by conquering lands from christians, taxed heavily its population and took several measures to convert them, is this how you want us to respect your "faith"? Even the Crusades, with the exception of that foolish "fourth crusade", were justified, aimed at protecting the christians on your lands and reconquering lands you took from the Roman Empire itself.

The Mughal Emperor is furious with the foolish actions of his incompetent Imams. I told you to peacefully convert the Hindus and yet you tried to force convert them. This act has both damaged the Mughal Empire and Islam itself. You have convinced many Hindus that we are utterly opposed to them when in fact we are religiously tolerant of other faiths. As such all Imams who survived who tried to force convert people are to be taken to the central Square of Dehli and be whipped for their actions which have damaged both Islam and the Mughal Empire.

I quit.

Uhm, could I have England, now that Fry's quit?

OOC: I'm going to step down as France. If someone else wants to take over, they should probably be allowed to revoke my last policy change without penalty, but that's just my opinion on the subject.

The Battle of Tabor- 22nd of April 1620

Tabor in Bohemia had been known as one of the most important cities in the reformation of Bohemia, as well as lying on the way to Prague. In Early Spring of 1620, the Armies of the Catholic League had started to move again, with the Bavarian and Austrian troops meeting up at Budweis, one of major catholic cities within the rebellious Bohemia, firmly under Imperial control. The Elector-Palatine and newly crowned King of Bohemia had been moving his troops into position, as with half of the Bavarian Army marching with the Imperial forces, he was able to deploy the Army of the Palatinate to Prague.

The Protestant forces, seeing that they would be outnumbered almost two to one, chose to defend the city, even if that might give the Catholic forces the option to siege them and whittle them down slowly, day after day. The Catholic League chose to siege, until in the morning of the 22nd of April, a messenger arrived to Tilly's siege camp with word of the Swedish having landed in Pommerania. Tilly immediately called a meeting of the highest generals of the Catholic League. "If we proceed to siege every city just as we are currently doing, the Swedes will arrive here before we can even take Prague, then we face a long and bloody rebellion, one that will take decades to crush", Tilly explained. Wallenstein, as eager as ever, replied: "We must assault and crush the uprising, so we can crush the protestant rebels in the north before they can properly organize."

Around noon the troops were ready to assault the City and advance towards Prague. The Defenders Morale was high, defending, unlike the Catholic troops who were mainly fighting for monetary reasons, for their faith and defending their homes and rights. The Catholic troops charged, always switching between salvos of Musket fire and melee charges, but the defenders hold firm, using the houses to get out of the firing ark while the catholics fired, and shot back when their Infantry charged, causing a deadly stalemate for the Austrians.

The Bavarian contingent of troops chose a different strategy, using their, albeit low on numbers cavalry force armed with pistols to make the Bohemian Pike formations retreat and charge towards the center of town as quickly as possible. Their attack forced the Bohemian Troops to retreat through the city, getting hit in the rear by both Austrian troops and the small Bavarian contingent. This attack, even though it was not as devastating as it could have been, was vital to the success of the catholic troops, who now were fighting on even ground with the protestants, causing equal casualties.

The Bohemian commanders had to make a decision, retreat to the keep and hope for the Swedish troops to arrive in time, or starve to death. The decision was made, that Prague was more important to the success of the Bohemian crown, then Tabor was, and they retreated, leaving the keep undefended to the Austrians. Should the Catholic troops advance until Prague however, the city would be defended to the last breath, being so vital to the survival of protestantism in the region.

[Bohemian Forces reassembling in Prague; Austrians marching onwards towards Prague]

Tilly assembled the generals once again, marching up and down in the small room of the Tábor town hall. "This battle was a victory, but this isn't a war about victories, this is a war about success, and we can not let these rebels get away another time, we need to end this madness now and not drag it on for another 30 years, which we surely will if we keep fighting such battles. Imagine - if we can't crush the smallest of our foes, will we succeed? Yes we will, we can not fail, for our duty is sacred. "

[Another War Update possible soon if i get war orders]

OOC: Thank you Tyriet for the war update, Morrell is France. Nations involved in the 30 years war please send war orders ASAP if you want update before next turn.

We are most pleased to hear of Our successes in the field, although We are simultaneously saddened by the extent of the bloodshed that has already transpired. We call an end to this fury that is consuming the Holy Roman Empire and setting the German estates against each other, even as a foreign adversary embarks upon a campaign of plunder and conquest. Such feuding is unworthy of the lordss of Christendom. There must be peace amongst the Empire once more, or else all shall suffer.

As such, We restate the terms of reconciliation with Friedrich, Elector of the Palatinate. Lower your arms against Us, and return Our rightful domain; and We shall exact no penalty against your person, your family or your property. Your armies shall be given safe passage from Prague to your estates in the County Palatine. You shall retain your status as Elector of the aforesaid county, and all the powers, prerogatives and properties that accompany such status. We have already upheld Our solemn vow to ensure the free practice of religious preference throughout Our realms and domains. There can be no justification, now, for challenging the integrity of Our sovereignty, or for doubting the legitimacy of Our promises to the people.

In these troubled times, when the Empire is subverted both within and without, there must unity and amiability between us. We are unwilling to shed further blood; but if We are offered no choice but more conflict, then We shall begrudgingly continue Our campaign to suppress rebellion. If you should choose the path of further resistance, know that only God himself can offer you leniency, for We shall have none.

OOC: Going to drop out. Morocco is mostly extra baggage anyways and I don't have stats and never was that into this time period for this type of game anyways. Good luck!

I am happy to see that trade links to our closest neighbors have been reopened, and that resources have started flowing. Still, this is nothing compared to the days when Oman was glorious and its riches kept increasing with every ship sailing in and out of muscat. There is yet much work to be done to return to the glory and to the days when a mosque built out of gold was not some sort of tale, but something that could have become reality. Trade links with the Swahili states are of importance as well to trade in the region, bringing in the raw materials that then go to China or to other far away parts of this world.

Furthermore, i have noticed that some of the tribal leaders, nobles, and heads of important families have become wary of my rule, and i can assure you, this should not be the case. Still, i shall grant you the right to advise me on my divine duty, in the form of the Omani Council, a council to which i will appoint certain members of importance to the Sultanate, and they will be my advisors, for even the smartest of men can not do their work all alone. While i can grant you this right, i will reassure once again, that the peace with the Kingdom of Portugal is of utmost importance, and shall not be disturbed, even more so since the ink has yet to completely dry.

The progress made on both army and navy is of excellent pleasure and will help to assure that Oman can reassert its role in guiding and doing the righteous for the progress and advance of this world.

- Abdullah bin Muhammad, Sultan of Oman

ooc: I would like to get Morocco if possible.

Edit: If it is allowed I would then also ask to reassign the moves from the turn before because Morocco got a succession war with Fez and the south in the hands of the ruler's brothers during which some cities also went independent and the Spanish expanded their holdings in Morocco.

We shall have peace when the Holy Roman Emperor recognises my rightful authority as King of Bohemia. The Imperial armies have paid with blood for their trespasses. We stand strong at the walls of Prague.

Let it be known to all that when We presented the rebel Friedrich with a fair and equitable peace, he cast it aside. We have done all in Our power to secure a peaceful settlement to this issue. Therefore, We must now resort to force of arms to restore order and stability throughout the Empire and finally pacify the Bohemian rebels. Let it be shown in Our legacy that it was We who proffered peace and friendship, to no avail.
