Hi, I was wondering if anything is still on the plate or we get a final patch and that's it!

I dont think such devotted developpers can leave the game in its current state, with features that used to work and are broken now (I want my 2 hex range turtle !)

I do think far more can be added to this work of love, and I would be happy to pay
- to have a clerk coming at the end of a game to recap what did happen (final stat screen)
- to have a list of behaviour that can be attached to a unit (guard this place, follow that unit, explore, patrol between those waypoints)
- to be able to load a .jpg for the face of my unit.
- to colonize the deep sea.
- and anything you can think of, more of everything is always welcome

The devs are working on something patchwise as they were asking for testing help from the community. Whether anyone answered that call for help is up for debate. If the community of interest is too small further work is likely not facially viable..though I would certainly buy more content were it offered.

"Need a hero! Somebody experiencing crashes and ready to help us to fix it, we can use your help! Please contact me in Skype: ino-co_skelos

I'm thinking you misread. I'm thinking they need someone to provoke crashes while communicating with them over skype in real time.

Need a pure bug-fix patch. No new features, no upgrades, just fix the bugs - there are too many.

No one seems to have replied here, though it doesnt mean no one has. I would but I dont have the crashes. Though this weekend I will try to replicate a few.
The patch if anymore do come out is likely to be held up if no one volunteers to help track down the problem outside the Devs own PC/development environment.

I haven't experienced crashes either - the bugs I'm referring to are the many functional bugs listed in the bug forum. Are you saying that there is no plan to fix these? That support for the game is gone? Also, you seem to be implying that Paradox have no QA team?

I am not part of InoCo nor Paradox. So what you see me write is the limit of what I see on these boards and an opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. If you infer anything from my comments then that is up to you.

As for Paradox not having a QA team....????? Have you looked at many of the threads in the Tech. Support Area? :)

Gamersgate has recently started to offer a Warlock: Master of the Arcane Collection edition which contains all the DLCs, including the recent Armageddon :

This makes me wonder if the Developers have decided to end the first major game-development cycle in order to focus on the design and production of a big expansion.

If my pure speculation is correct, that would mean no more DLC until the first expansion is released, many months down the road.

What we do not know (because gross sales and net profits are corporate secrets) is the financial motivation in continuing to invest time and resources into WMotA, beyond the Collection edition, which appears to bring some sort of finality to WMotA.

Sorry, you just spoke as though you knew what you were talking about, and you're a mod, so I thought you knew more than you do.

Poked... but dont expect him to answer... hes probably busy fighting off Dremer!

'cause its waaaaay to much to ask for paradox or inco to take 5 secs out of their day to communicate with the measly customers..what was I thinking...

Such an absurd statement....I mean really are you serious? They have been here and talked with us about future plans. If they can they will I am sure. Perhaps they are in the middle of something that has non-disclosure attached to it. If it were me you wanted to hear from, a comment like this crud your spewing would certainly turn me off about giving you some information. I doubt they feel the same though as they are professionals. I just think your attacking attitude is garbage. Is this how you go about getting things in your day to day life? You stomp and passive aggressively spout things at someone until they do your bidding? I will reiterate though that since they have always been good about giving us information about plans with the game. I would bet when they are able and willing they will give us that information. I would say be patient but you already aren't lol.

Yep people are busy, with many games needing attention. When the devs and Paradox are ready Im sure they will let us know.

Meanwhile there are many communication methods you can use to make sure you are up to date. This forum is only one of them. Sign up to the Paradox newsletter. Or connect to twitter and facebook feeds for the games. Then wait to see whats comes in.

There is no point expecting people to give out information if a) they have no new information to give out b) have other priorities.

Please stay patient. :)

Absolutely serious. First - We've tried asking nicely and working with them to provide information - I dont see any results from that. Second- what is absurd is suggesting people are too busy to provide a timely update. It takes 3 seconds to post something from anywhere in the world, including while taking a dump. Third - As a paying customer I absolutely expect and am due timely response regarding this product which I paid for but can not play because it crashes every turn. In leua of that Paradox can offer refunds, as they have for other games where their quality control was lacking. Finally - Last time I checked I dont not know the plans for the game's future, nor do I have an ETA regarding fixes for the crashing. As I already paid for my product I should not be asked to wait on their marketing schedule to get a patch or answers to whether fixes are in the works or not. So I have every right to be upset, more so due to the lack of response from both Paradox and Inco.

Being an empowered customer isnt absurd - mewing like a sheep until the next marketing cycle comes around is. <pat on the head> "Be a good customer and suck it up -we'll talk to you again when we have something new we want you to buy"
