I have wondered if those leftover movement points you get when trying to move onto a hill etc can ever be utilised... for example are those used if you let that auto walking business continue your journey?

Is it just me but if you alt tab out of a game then anything you write has a weird delay? I have a pretty fast PC and when I check resources nothing seems maxed out so I don't get how the game would effect this... it is no biggy but just interested to know what's going on there.

If the unit still has a movement point or two but not sufficient to move another tile because of the terrain, the unit can still engage in combat with an enemy unit that is within combat range. Your second point has been mentioned before, I believe. It may simply be a bug.

Thanks for the answer so any leftover movement points are lost if you don't use them on the same turn.

@MSCabbage:

I recognized the same "bug" like you: alt + tab causes everything you write in the browser to be written letter by letter.

This has been the case for me since when the game was released (and though i deinstalled/reinstalled it a lot =)).
