As I said in the patch thread once before, I cannot emphasize how badly this game needs keyboard shortcuts. You keep adding great content yet you do not fix the simplest / most important stuff like UI that should have been fixed long time ago. All the content in the world doesn't mean anything if the UI doesn't even have the most basic of keyboard shortcuts (with tooltip hints showing what they are when you hover over commands).

Sleep, center on unit, etc. are all mentioned. One of my biggest annoyances is, when I select a unit the waypoint marks show. If I set the unit to guard, and the waypoint marks still shows! Very annoying. Waypoint marks should not show when a unit is de-selected / guarded / slept. Please fix this.

Please consider doing a pure UI and AI improvement patch without adding any content. Thank you.

Want to add my voice to this thread.
The game is excellent....but it definitely needs player-bindable hotkeys for functions such as unit commands etc.
Having to move the mouse from one screen edge to the other repeatedly as one works through units is tedious and detracts from gameplay.

So hotkeys.....please :)

A single key to skip all movements between turns alone would make me play this game more often

The mid and late game are really annoying with the dozens of mouse click mashes you have to do every turn

But yes, fully customizable hotkeys would be awesome, their absence is notable

The "enter" key will end your turn even if there are still "notifications" to process (such as "give orders" or "available construction"), is this the action you are looking for?

For an individual unit, the "g" key will set them to "Guard" for the turn and remove them from the "give orders" queue. Much of my turn is clicking "give orders" followed by "g" for units that I want to keep an eye on but are not actively doing something (like scouting or raiding a pocket world). Otherwise I set them to "Sentry" (sleep until an enemy comes into visual range).

Edit: One confusing part about the "g" hotkey is that there is little visual queue of the action. The unit's icon will change to a shield however they will still have their current movement arrows visible on the map. You can still assign the unit movement after hitting "g" in case you did it by mistake.
