This game is great, so much fun..

Even when set to very easy, i havent had anyone halfway through the dungeon :p
Love just being mean and spawning shit on those damn heros, etc.

even had a group of people insisting to play on normal, i gave them the opertunity to go easy but no, they only want normal.
wam, bang, thank you mam. 8 rounds of normal later they quit :p

hahahaha

You try playing as heroes against dire ducks and all that stuff on normal. Not that easy is it?

That stuff is insane :p
Now i only run DM as "very easy" unfortunally the "SORTING" of servers is shit, it only sorts alphabetically not by difficulty.
so people see easy as the top one when sorting.

I exchanged by dire ducks with monkeys at the moment :p im still winning

And that's what makes you a bad dungeon master. A good dungeon master will realize that it's not just about winning and only YOU having fun and that playing in a way that allows the heroes to have as much fun as possible can make it fun for you as well. No, I'm not saying to just let them win. Drag it out a bit, give them a few close calls, let them fight really hard for those chests and then kill them off in different ways.

you don't think i know that, I'm proving a point here about the game and its default adjustments.
I'm not sure about your age, but by the sound of it, I've been playing as a PnP Dm back when you where hanging around in your dads balls.

notice the smilies around the text, those indicate sarcasm more info here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm
I'm quite aware that text don't translate sarcasm very well, but combining text with a shitload of stupid smilies usually work.
Because who in their right mind would stick out their tongue during a conversation..

But thanks for starting a internet arguement, and you do know what they say about those, right ? --> insert smiley face to hint/indicate joke <--- ;)

No, that wasn't the proper use of sarcasm I'm afraid.

Also, trying to devalue me and my arguments by bringing age into it clearly makes you the more mature person here. See? Now THAT was sarcasm. Just putting smileys everywhere doesn't automatically classify something as sarcasm. I wasn't trying to start an argument. I was merely trying to educate you in different ways to play the DM. If you already know all this from your allegedly vast experience then that's all good, but I can't say thats how you came off in your original post.

I agree with this one, 'cause it's what I do.

I actually wouldn't have until TB brought it up in his video. Forget what he said exactly, but it made me try to let the party get to the boss at least.

I also DM with zero interest in killing a team halfway through.

My ideal is to have a party have fun killing my minions and get to my boss with no lives left and then die at my glorious feet. I paid for a Giant Flying Hippo to cover you in poop. Damned If I'm going to waste that.

I agree, its better to give the heroes a chance (or at least think they have one) when playing. Its all part of the game. Toying with them and being evil, maybe adding the odd inconvenience here and there but never too much that they lose instantly.
Think in films, the villain can always finish the hero as soon as they see them, but they would rather tell them all of their plans and give them a chance to escape in a ludicrously elaborate way... otherwise. Short film.
However recently I've been killing them first thing, usually to test how overpowered certain things are as we don't want to ignore problems that could easily ruin games later on after the patches. Its always good to ask before if people mind tho and what difficulty they want, all the better to murder them fairly :D. However It being a fun mess around game, you play how you like. Happy killing, my fiends!
