Night 5

Whales prove rather difficult to tunnel out from, so our crew decided to set fire to inner forest. This idea was borne from a notion that they could burn their way and a vague spirit of pyromania that had been hovering among them for some time. What they did not realize was that it might leave them trapped inside the cetacean inferno. Quick thinking led our heroes to devise a plan that would have made more sense all along: they would wedge open the whale’s mouth when he was yawning with wood from the nearby forest. Nautilu was chosen to complete the task. Sad to say, he decided to use beams from the boat to save time. For this indiscretion, the adventurers left him tied inside the whale as punishment.

As if to demonstrate the dual nature of misfortune, the next trial would be one not of fire, but of ice. The North Wind grew very cold and caused the sea to freeze. Not only was the surface of the water now ice, but the ocean was now frozen to a depth of 300 fathoms. Ice was more conducive to tunneling than whale flesh, thus it was that the party dug a cave in the sea to serve as shelter for the night. These accommodations weren’t really so bad, as fish could be obtained merely by scratching them out of the walls of the cave. Despite what one would think, lycanthropes are not inclined to use their claws to cut through ice. This did not prevent them, as was discovered the next morning, from having cold cuts of their own.

Nautilu the villager was lynched

Marty99 the seer was hunted

NOW BURN!!!!!!!!

Nautilu better be the last wolf. The tie was not a stupid option, if you looked through my number crunching. And not a very good wolf plot of mine if I was volunteering for it :p

Edit: Ah. Slightly late to the party it seems.

surrender?

So, we now know there's one wolf left. By my maths, there were two scans. tamius being one, who was the other? Obviously you lot are in it together, but not all of you were cleared by the seer. Something made tamius jump with his IJL, and something made the last wolf go marty rather than mouthpiece Cymsdale. Who's the mole?

Mr Werewaffle isn't going to win that easily.

Interesting that the_hdk suspects you. The last time somebody made a strident case for the first hunt being done by somebody in a game I was in, it was reis... who was himself a wolf. Actually, that game also had an IJL, come to think of it.

Small clarification: I forgot to add the post # of Nautilu's vote switch in the final count. The votes were tallied correctly, but I forgot to add the post of his final vote. I have corrected that in the count post on the previous page.

This game should allow vote locking. It'd be a useful tool I think.

EDIT: Like if you say VOTE LOCKED you are not allowed to change it for the remainder of the day, and everyone knows this. You could pressure others into locking their votes to prove they aren't up to any funny business. Just a thought.

If we're wrong today, it's over, so the best option is a tie between Kiwi and Adamus I think.

Vote Kiwi

Eh, I was expecting that to happen yesterday, so why not today.

Vote Adamus

Of course, you better be right that it's Adamus, the_hdk :p

cyms is equally as wolfy as me apart from the fact that cyms has been in the jl longer. one point to him. But i made xarkan switch votes to kill tamius. why would i do this if i was a wolf???

anyway, hdk its your call, though your head seems to be elsewhere.

my vote will stay on capt kiwi.

it could be any of you 3 and I dont have time to reply to pms... as I had alot to do today ;)

but to make this more memorable I'm for to go a mass suicide!? whos with me?

meh. the shame of it is that this game could of ended long before if it wasnt for marty's mess up. how if i was a wolf would i of counted on that to happen. and what did i do, get tamius killed when i easily could of jumped on marty with tami and got marty killed you know? it just doesnt make any sense for me to be a wolf.

same for cyms really. a tie is a smart option though. me and kiwi, cyms and kiwi is the only way.

Alibi?

The hunt against Xarkan was a bit odd, my thought was it was a wolf attempt to cast suspicion that marty was running a fake JL.

That's kinda a long shot though, I like kiwi better as a choice, and the hunt can fit him if he really wasn't around during the whole outing fiasco (so basically an inactive wolf that didn't have time to respond to the JL-leak by marty, and Tamius simply didn't bother to change the hunt cause he's dead why the **** would he care).

It's really all about what you do hdk. I think a tie is the better math play, but if you agree with me that kiwi is the wolf, and he is, then Adamus deserves a piece of the win too and we could all just all vote kiwi.

If Adamus is the wolf we'll look like total dolts though.

I'm not the wolf. If I was, would I have let the game even get this close? I've been JL since the first day.
