sorry for all the switchups

or doubling the wolves

Since the wolves have other people who could vote to protect them it's pretty unlikely... Villagers have no one to protect them so fall foul of early ties a lot easier.

So the wolves know who the other wolves are? sorry first timer

Well it would be a risk for the wolves and they might just let their packmate die, but villagers can't do anything to save themselves...

There are 2 packs of wolves. Pack A know all other pack A members and pack B knows all other pack B members. In a standard set up anyway, sometimes there can be more than 2 packs.

Ah okay thank you, I was under the impression that there was only a few werewolves, but if there is two packs why did only one guy die last night?

Also sorry if I'm being annoying

Packs hunt in a pattern, normally it's odd nights for one and even for the other, but not always.

I watch over the villagers.

@tonkatoy5: Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you want until you're satisfied. You may think you're being annoying, but in reality we love having new players and everyone here will be only too happy to answer any of your questions.

Plus the more you remind people you are new the less likely you are to die! People hate killing new players.

Okay well I got one more, if theres two packs what happens if two werewolves hunt eachother?

They want to hunt each other. A pack of werewolves only win if all other packs are dead and their numbers are equal or greater than the number of villagers remaining.

A good rule of thumb is: don't be me. Cover that base, and you're pretty unlikely to be hunted.

*Phew* I happen to have that one covered. I should be safe.

At the same time?
Generally only one pack will hunt each night (although it would be cool if two packs hunted on the same night, every other night...)...if however the werewolves do hunt each other on the same night, the targeted wolf from each pack will die presumably.
Unless they're the last member of their pack, in which case it's more up to GM discretion. I'm not sure this has ever happened before and it's unlikely to happen in this game. So if you don't understand this paragraph, don't worry: it's not really a common scenario.

However, generally if a wolf pack hunts a wolf from another pack, that wolf will simply die like any other villager.

Lynching me will result only in the triumph of mediocrity.
