Do what you will with this information. Although preferably you don't lynch me and the GA can protect me from hunts (I believe it's TSP's packs turn), then the next day perhaps anyone with the thief trait can kill me and become the new seer. If you don't believe me that's fine, you will just be a seer short tomorrow :p

"Hello, going out on a limb here, but I'm the seer. I've scanned you so I'm confident you're not a wolf, so if you could tell your priest to scan me we can start a proper JL. If I happen to die tonight pass on the fact that I've scanned both Rendap and Adamus as villagers. If this really is just a ruse to out the seer, well played :p"

Me again:
"And now you have been outed as a cultist so I imagine I'm dead. Well done... " (having seen Falcs post)

Him:
"Well, I'm not but someone has decided to throw me under the bus"

Few minutes later he posts that I'm a cultist. Nothing particularly sensitive or revealing but hopefully it adds a bit of weight to my claims. And you said it would be a dull day Najs!

So what you're saying jpr, is that as arguably the most important role in the village you decided to contact me on the basis that I was serving as someone else's mouthpiece, without actually scanning me first? Surely if were actually the seer, you would have got someone you've already cleared to contact me, keeping yourself safe?

While your scenario isn't really that unlikely (TSP is a cultist, priest used him before scanning), you lack the credibility of someone who has already given us a baddie. More so since you are supported by Falc, who really didn't seem to make much sense at all.

Obviously he assumed that you were priest-scanned, meaning you were fully cleared after he scanned you. That makes you virtually safe.
If we believe him that is.
 
What about a sorcerer could this be a sorcerer hiding himself as a priest?
 
I probably won't be about at deadline, here's my last chance to clear my name. My source on jprs cultishness is the same for my previous outing, so only one of then can be telling the truth. To me, it seems Falc tried to discredit me as a JL spokesman, but everyone could see that his allegation made no sense, so now jpr is here with his accusations to shift focus back onto me.
 
On one hand, the first outing is usually more trustworthy, on the other hand, TSP has already done a successful JL outing... I think jpr has more votes, let's keep this close:

Looking back there was more time between that message and the outing than I thought. He sent it at 9.38, I suppose he wasn't sure what to do at that point. But when he posted at 11.09 he had clearly decided to get you to lynch me and save his pack a hunt. Although there is always the alternative that TSP does believe he is in contact with the real priest, say a sourcerer who scanned a rival cultist, and is using TSP as his stooge. Then TSP had to contact him to ask about me and the baddie could have claimed to already be in contact with the seer and said I must be lying. This is all just speculation though and since he has apparently been scanned as a cultist I'm more inclined to believe that.

I understand that, but it's very possible sourcerer or someone with scanning powers could have scanned a rival cultist. If we kill TSP the worst case scenario is you lose the JL mouthpiece, who is expendable anyway. If you kill me the worst case scenario is a dead seer. If I'm lying I will clearly just be killed tomorrow. I wouldn't go through all this trouble of trying to defend myself and forging PM's just to survive an extra day. Falc's outing sounded dodgy to me as well which is why I voted for him earlier. It was only after TSP 'outed' me I knew I had made the wrong choice.

I would ask you to post all your PMs with priest (with his name edited out), but I fear if you do tell the truth it would be too obvious who the priest is.

Then again, this is all very bizarre. Your credibility is damaged too, because you just managed to find another cultist straight after the first one, and immediately after someone accused you of being a cultist.

The problem is that by killing the JL mouthpiece, we will have no idea who is in charge of it next. And then we will move on to more fake outings.

However, as the two outings are most likely mutually exclusive in that if one is true, the other one isn't, we may want to minimize our losses here. I find myself without choice other than to switch, for now at least.

Yeah killing the JL mouthpiece wouldn't be ideal I know. Although if he is legit he will soon be hunted anyway unless a doctor saves him (assuming the no hunt yesterday was due to a GA protecting him from a hunt). But not believing the seer and lynching him instead would be far worse for the village. I'm glad you're finally seeing sense.
 
Just to add my thoughts to this.

The claim from jpr that he contacted me with information that he was a scanner is correct.

Whether the information that he has scanned me as mentioned and if he's scanned Adamus I don't know.

I am indeed a villager (at the moment at least) and at this point I don't really know what to do. I normally advocate to always follow the outing and TSP did give us a cultist.

However, I do find the various outings very fishy and remind you all that there is a Detector Trait, where people can scan for non-villagers roles. What if this is pack-detector scans kicking in?

I'll think more of this and for now keep my vote on Sedracus.

Someone, maybe Super Pope said that when he was priest for a game he was drunk night 0, keeping him from scanning anyone, as a balance mechanism, and if thats true for this game, only two people have been scanned, which makes your priest defunct, so I'm gonna vote you, but if you reveal your *priest* I'll vote them.

I did. I left both Adamus and Rendaps name in the recipient field so they know I contacted them both. Rendap didn't reply and Adamus sent back a message saying he thought I was a cultist but he admired the effort I put into trying to escape a lynching :D

Originally I had hoped that with their help I might be able to avoid the being lynched and maybe even hunted if one of them was the GA, but when I got that reply I decided I had no choice but to reveal my role publicly.
