Looking at things, I'm afraid I'm going to have to RP as a history nazi...

Japan in 730 AD had no daimyo, no samurai, no geisha, no ninja, no werewolves, ...

Misplaced my glasses, and was going to say thanks, but I'm married, but then I took a second look at the word in between 5 and remaining. NM

Well, obviously.
LMAO! AFAIK, RepBently will be the only "slut" in the game.

It is obviously alt history then ;p

And I'll bet you were one of those nay-sayers regarding Sunset Invasion, too.

NVM.

This is a true statement, and a skill I need to master.

Find any game with Randakar as a Baddie and read his posts. That should give you some idea... :D

Also, Falc, aren't history nazis ahistorical, too?
Unfortunately not. They are close kin to grammar nazis and haunt all forums to steal fun from regular forumites.

Perhaps it's best if we take a point of view, somewhat in the manner of Boethius, that says all occurrences exist at once and out of time, but we only perceive them chronologically.

That's the best justification I can think up for ahistoricism. And why I hope the DLC for CK II after Old Gods features time traveling Confederates under Lee. What could be better than Aztecs, Vikings, Mongols, and Confederate infantry squabbling over Medieval Europe?

I don't actually care about Mayan history or that of Western Europe.

I do like Japan's history, though.

The point is, if you want all the stuff people are playing as, you'd simply need to play in the 1600-1850 period.

Of course, I also know that everyone tries to outdo the others in picking a character that's actually not fitted to the theme

How many actual Poles were there in the previous Lite?

While not stated, my peeping tom was Polish.
