Kiwi that is lite games.... Look at the game that was hosted by I5 - the great train robbery - that game had a lot of different roles and it turned out just fine... True GMing is about creating a balanced set-up with interesting roles....

No, Lite games are a known or semi-known setup with restricted player numbers. Werewolf is a battle of a clueless majority against an organised minority. It was never meant to be about whether one side can use their ruby slippers to better effect than the other side can use their broomstick. Anything that takes us away from villagers looking for wolfish activity and wolves attempting to steer them wrong without being obvious about it detracts from that. Roles are needed to force wolves to play since there are no body language queues for the village to turn to, but the roles are not what the game is about.

Here's one of the game I GMed. Ketchum is my nickname there as well. The game is too small, coupled with good guy inactive especially the Sage and so bad guys won:sleep:
