It'd work well for random CoAs as well though.raven banner is already IG for a few defined Coa (Lodbrok and others) so I've let it aside.

I agree with cybrxkhan that the coats of arm are way too big. It makes the map overly cluttered, and it's hard to get a clean and informative picture of what's going on from mid-height view. Which is a shame because I otherwise absolutely love your mod!counties and duchies are bigger to permit enjoying more the work done on them(it is also more pratical to check centering and such when testing).
+ I admit coa-on-map spam from CK1 miss me^^
Just delete /interface/mapitems.gfx and it'll go back to default sizes.I agree with cybrxkhan that the coats of arm are way too big. Hi there,
I didn't see anything in the first post about specific COAs for Muslim dynasties. Does this mod give the prominent ones (Fatimids, Ummayads, Seljuks etc) specific COAs? Since the Muslim realms use dynasty banners now (an awesome change IMHO!) it would make sense to do that since you'd get so much mileage from that - armies would march under the green Fatimid banner when they rule Egypt, etc.
Also, do you know which setting in the cultures.txt or religions.txt or other file commands the Muslims to do it like this? I am currently playing a Mali game and noticed that it is not a general Muslim feature since my Empire and all the Mandé lords therein do not use dynasty themed flags/realm names.
It depends on culture and titles I believe, so certain cultures will use their dynasty gfx for everything and certain titles will obligate you to use the title gfx (like rum)Also, do you know which setting in the cultures.txt or religions.txt or other file commands the Muslims to do it like this? Hm... I was thinking, how cool it would be, if you could make dynasty shields be used as realm shields in the Game of Thrones mod. A Targaryen king on the Iron Throne would use the dragon banner, a Baratheon king the stag banner, ... they have such beautiful dynasty COAs in that mod, taken straight from the novels and the TV show, yet they had to design literally 100s of generic COAs for all the lordships, duchies and kingdoms in the mod and those would be what you see 90% of the time while you play the mod.It depends on culture and titles I believe, so certain cultures will use their dynasty gfx for everything and certain titles will obligate you to use the title gfx (like rum)
thanks^^ but WAD the reasons explained a bit earlier (see ermin bar thingy discussion and issue)Really impressive mod, Arko! I'm not sure whether or not this is a issue, but while creating custom CoA with Ruler Designer I'm unable to switch layout format from Plain to other ones.
In fact it is activated by the "use dynastie name as realm name" command that can be found in 00_cultures.It depends on culture and titles I believe, so certain cultures will use their dynasty gfx for everything and certain titles will obligate you to use the title gfx (like rum)
Yes it is something possible. it is just a matter of how AGOT mod people want to design the mod.Hm... Love the mod, but I have a small issue with the newest version. When I play ARKO in combination with ProjectBalance, the Zoroastrian army COAs are black squares. On the character sheet and map, the COAs work fine. It's only when I raise my levies that they begin flying black squares as banners.
classic black flags issue maybe ? delete the /gfx folder in C:\Users\ArKo\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\ARKOpack_armoiries\ (the directory may be named differently if used combined with PB).I am having a problem with lots of black / strange CoAs.... I added this to a save game, is that the problem?
Also playing PB.

Meneth will probably confirn or not if there is any issue with this latest version of the mod.

On a side note, I hope next patch, awaited for next week, won't mess up too much the compatibility. The code for dynastic Coa 3 is already in the game files, so it is already in ARKOpack too : that would at least prevent that issue^^
Seems to be working, though it might overwrite some new dynasties and such I suppose.Should this mod be working with the new patch 1.102?
