I forgot to switch my vote to k-59. Whoops.

Oh well. I won my first game of Werewolf though! Although, it had every thing to do with luck and nothing to do with any actual skill on my part.

You just won a Lite as a villager without voting any wolves whatsoever :D Unless you want to count your day zero fake vote?

Nice one, if you fancy a more complex game try a big game some time, its a hoot too!

I definitely want to try the next big game when it's posted.

I really like this quote. Do you mind if I use it in my sig?

I just won my first paradox forum ww game ever!
And Euro said I was a gonner before we even really got started.

Wrong on that count wasn't he?

Guys! Guys! EURO said something and it wasn't true! What do I get for finding this rarity?

There are two ways to win as seer: scan all the wolves, or have more scanned villagers alive than there are wolves alive. The former is more direct, but can leave the village with a few un-analysable outings and a dead seer. The way this turned out meant we had enough to work with, that even if a JL member had been hunted instead of Nautilu we still should have got k-59.

Thanks for the game everyone, I had a good time in my "comeback"! ;)

Hehe! To add to that, you kind of lucked into the JL and thus safety from lynches: you were the backup's backup when both the scan target and the backup got lynched. :D

Still, nicely done to get the first win right away!

I just won my first paradox forum ww game ever!

And congrats to you as well! ;)

Wolfdar failed again.

Though my standing orders list would've netted me a few scalps.

Lesson learned: don't second-guess yourself

Well, you would have hit k-59 had he not hunted you, and trespoe or tonkatoy5 if not for Nautilu's brilliant tie.

Gotta admit, I got a good laugh and a bit of a head shake out of that initial standing orders list, hitting a wolf with pretty much every other scan on average without having any information yet would have been pretty good. :p Then again, like Capt. Kiwi points out, this growing JL worked very well too, especially with the pack hunting unscanned villagers for the most part.

especially with the pack hunting unscanned villagers for the most part.

Thats what won the game for us right there. Once the uninformed majority became more informed than the informed Minority you've got the game sewn up.

Although if the wolves are able to hunt only scanned villagers, to guarantee success you need to have more scanned villagers alive than both wolves and unscanned villagers combined.

Werewolf CXLVII: The Great Norse Reformation

bulbjerg.jpg

Mid Xth century, somewhere in the Jutland peninsula.

The heads of the most powerful Viking states gather for a special council. With them are their most trusted advisors still true to the Allfather. Many are concerned with the rapid Christianization of their realms. But some stay steadfast and strong and are determined to fight. And as the saying goes, you must fight fire with fire.

But their powerful neighbours desire no such thing as a centralized Norse religion. The Christians would rather uproot this tree before it spreads its seeds.

Will they succeed in stopping the Norse Reformation?
