In the OT section is currently a thread about an insane concept for a great game idea. The idea is to let the player start with a tribe of hunter-gatherers and lead them to the brink of civilization (let`s say a city state like Ur).
Although the concept of the OP is completely crazy (e.g. timespan of 500.000 years with 3 months per turn; 5.000 trading goods; 250 tech trees) I think that the basic idea would be worth a shot and a fresh thing among all the Crisis / WiR games.
So the question is. Would there be a playerbase (let`s say 5 people) for it, even if in the first turns there would be not that much to do besides gathering food or exploring the surroundings, while more actions are unlocked in the course of the game (aka technological progress)?
EDIT:
No, I am not abandoning my Cold War game. This is just a query.
