if still open and I realy think octa and morganna or whatever they are called here should not know each other as that way morganna can not safely pretend to be Merlin

BTW, how do people feel about playing with 6 people?

Because there's only 2 Minions, I really wouldn't mess with them too much, certainly not split them. So no Gollum and no Boromirs, I'd say. Maybe a Denethor, or Aragorn+Saruman, or just no Minion roles at all.

I would like to try either the Palantir or Ring rules though.

Or I can start PMing for some more players.

EDIT: nvm

PM might work.

I was able to get Cymsdale for my last WWL via PM. Kiwi (did a Resistance or 2 in the past) and a few others might be enticed by the theme.

Heck, try to entice a few WW players. The might be affected by the WW shortage.

And no I think I can switch my conditional IN from earlier to an IN no matter what.

The Ring swaps the given order and the total result of the Quest is revealed as usual.

The original order is then privately revealed to the player who used the Ring.

Use of the Ring is announced in public, though.

Hmm, okay. Will only use itself be announced, or will we be informed as to the target of it though?

Somehow the cardless avalon variant feels a lot faster, than the other vanilla game. Also I don't really get what to say about most of the cards in the game. Nothing interesting ever happens with the no confidence cards, and the other ones are never played on or by me. So if nobody play cards things get more equal.

Who the leader gives those cards to can actually be quite revealing, even if they aren't used. Perhaps even *especially* if they aren't used ;-)

Use of the Ring is announced in public, though.

Please make that kind of stuff explicit in the rules. It can make a very large difference and is too often misinterpreted by players or GM's other than the one who wrote the original rules.

Rules sound awfully complicated so I thought I'd watch one before joining...
The rules aren't that complicated. I jumped straight into my first game and I managed a win. Try it.

Edit: Great

Well, I don't mind waiting a bit longer... I don't know about the others.

I do think 8 players is a nice number. I thought about using the Palantir and Ring, Boromirs with predetermined switches and no other roles. In other words, none of the straightforward stuff :p

Sounds cool. Maybe give one more hour, but I think the 8 player set up is good.
