I'm not trying to portray as wrong, in the sense the outcome was correct. But the poster seemed remarkable calm and assured about the fact that is was something he'd say.

Still, I'm willing to say that was probably, 80% likely, genuine. If I came across the way you said (and I think I actually did), I went too far.

But as an actual method for finding wolves? It is both incredibly inefficient* and also lowers the tone of discussion from interesting deductive analysis to everyone voting someone for using the wrong fucking word. If nothing else it bores me to tears.


*Mercifully inefficient, since that's the opposite of ruthless?
 
I've seen a few legitimate ones, but yes it's overused. Glio couldn't have accidentally said 'I want to eat euro lol' or whatever the exact words were. If you just ignore the ones that pretty much just can't be accidental, they really don't pop up much at all. It can also just be useful to fish frankly, accuse someone of it, see the reaction and who gets on. Don't really see it squashing the games meself.

Someone make a big pls. I heard tell it'd bring jonti and lemeard to the yard.

I'd still like to hear gliomarto confirm whether or not it was. Course he could lie, but I'm still not sure considering his RP character was called Mr. Wolf.

It seems as if maybe the last year or so it has happened before, also. I would say that percentages are about 50/50 on a crovax by wolf as opposed to villager. But that is still better odds than shooting at random without a JL/seer.

I was lynched in Johho's Aces of the Pacific game for a perceived crovax..... I had named one of the wolf packs but it was a lucky guess on my part as I was a villager. It was enough to get me lynched, however. And the ones who led the lynching were the wolves.

*sniff* those had jonti and Heimdall and... lots of spam. Lots and Lots of Spam!
 
Mr. G's was probably a bona fide crovax. Lord Strange I read as basically saying 'get the pack' in the sense of catching them all in one sweep. Although I adore the hubris when he implies he could be better than AVN.

I strongly disagree. But I don't think either of us is going to be bothered to do a statistical study. :p

I never got to play with Heimdall, or Hellvink for that matter whom I often confuse with each other. But Hellvink is still active on the fora I think whereeas Heimdall hasn't been online in a year.

I think that's about when I did my first lite. Lites are easy Bigs on the other hand, much more complicated.

Also I just finished all my homework for tomorrow, I've got a few other things to do but nothing urgent so game will most likely be up today.
 
Base the theme on your homework.

Maybe I'll make the theme of my next game about my Sunday constitutionals.
