PDS is happy to present:
My name is: Martin Anward
My forum nick is: Wiz
At Paradox development studio I work as: AI Programmer
So what do I do, really – what does that mean? Depending on who you ask, it either means that I work on the AI for various PDS titles, or that I *am* the AI for various PDS titles. Which theory you choose to believe is up to you.
I have worked on: Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods and Sons of Abraham, Victoria II: Heart of Darkness, Europa Universalis 4.
Right now I´m working on: It's a secret to everyone.
I have decorated my desk with: A book of secrets (no reading) and a motion detecting portal turret. Sadly the latter makes too much noise to keep it on when other people are at the office.
My hobbies include: History (duh), computer games (duh), board games, hiking, working towards the creation of sentient artificial life (duh).
My super power is: Always being able to pick the exact time the coffee machine is being cleaned to go get coffee.
And out of the 7 deadly sins, I am definitely guilty of: Pride
My best game ever and why I like it (that I did not create): Morrowind. Yeah, it's a clunky game mechanics-wise and the NPCs are all walking encyclopedias... but it also has the best written, most unique and most engrossing world and lore that has ever graced an RPG, and the ability to explore that world in an open world game simply makes it my favorite title of all time.
Little known fact about a Paradox Development Studio game: Victoria II: Heart of Darkness expansion introduced the historical but previously overlooked nation of Jan Mayen to our games. I highly recommend giving them a play.
