So you're putting Randy and TNT on there? When we know that glio didn't sabotage last mission, that means one of them has to be a spy. I like being on the team, but this team is terrible.

Seriously?

If the team was Cliges, Aedan, Me, and Tnt, I'd consider it just to see what would happen. Though at this point I'm more inclined to go with the you and Randy method.

Okay, now, since this one will obviously get rejected, let's discuss what shall I propose. I'd really hate to go to the last proposal.
I'm thinking along the lines of myself, Randy, Aedan, and either Tonka or Tamius. Do not offer Cliges, I will not take him no matter what. Ditto for TNT, obviously.

I'm not sure about Tamius, due to his odd distribution of the cards, but as long as I'm on the team I'll probably approve.

Team proposal:

Cliges
Aedan777
Randakar
tnt

TNT is a spy.
Even if you believe TNT isn't a spy, then you still should know for sure either of us is a spy because of the way the first mission played out.

## reject

I'm really not going to bother with keeping this one private. It's about as obvious as they come.

I'm curious to see how this vote goes. Especially given that I have a feeling that anything I proposed is going to be shot down, anyhow. But there are a few things I might like to see happen.

Your team has a guaranteed spy on it. Of course it's going to get shot down.

I'm starting to think he's doing it on purpose. Making terrible decisions that hurt the resistance is something he does pretty much *every* game.
Really cliges, is that your strategy? Play so badly as resistance you're impossible to detect as a spy?

Fact:
- TNT is a spy
OR
- randakar AND gliomarto are spies.

Since this team contains both TNT and me, we know it has at least one spy. Therefore, the only sensible course is to reject it, regardless of whether you are on it.

Since TNT is a spy it will get sabotaged.. dóh.

If the choice is tonka or tamius, I say tamius. But that's pure gut feeling - the way that strong leader card was handed out feels more like a goof than something an actual spy would do.
And I honestly feel more distrust towards Aedan than towards Tonka, to be truthful.
I will probably accept anything you propose simply because I trust you more than I trust JPR (who proposes the next team) right now.

Why do you distrust me more than Tonka? We have the same voting record, and we didn't go on the first team, so the only difference would be in posts, and he said he would approve this team if he was on it, and I am on it and am clearly against it. I can see not trusting me, no real reason to, but why trust Tonka more than me? I don't see it.

OK, this proposal has the worst of both worlds as it guarantees the inclusion of at least one spy. It might have made some sense to put forward a team that is composed of the most spyish characters and hope for multiple sabotages but it doesn't even do that.

So,

I still think the best team proposal is myself, Randy, Glio then one of Tonka, Aedan or Tamius. But I'll accept not being on it if it contains those other people.

Because you're a tricky bastard, that's why :p
So in other words: I don't think you're really a more likely spy, I just feel tonka is easier to read. It's not really all that strong a preference at all.
edit: That being said .. your reaction to this reads to me a bit like "oh, what the hell did I do now to attract suspicion, I thought I wasn't obvious??!?!"

Funny how Aedan and you agree with each other.
I'd like to see you two try and think up a team that does *not* contain yourself. If you're a spy putting yourself on there makes it easy to propose a team that will get sabotaged. If you can't propose yourself you will however have to include your known spymate, and if that's TNT then I will know what side you're on. ;-)

Votes tallied:

APPROVE: Cliges
REJECT: aedan777, tonkatoy5, gliomarto, tamius23, Trinitrotoluen, jpr123, randakar

Proposal is rejected 7 votes to 1.

Agent 006 gliomarto will make the next Proposal.

Do you really think that such a move would be an efficient strategy? I mean, consider the loss vs payoff ratio on that even if it were the case that someone was doing so.

This pressure, this responsibility...

Gliomarto
Randakar
Aedan
Tonkatoy

and approve

But I'm not so sure that randakar is not a Spy this time around.

No. There are more resistance members than spies in this game so on average you lose a lot more because of it than you gain in wins.
But you make these silly decisions so often that it really stops making sense to me. You've played this game before.. why the scatterbrained moves all the time?

Ok.
I'm going back over the mission history a bit:

Note that last proposal. Exactly the same team as now. The only people approving are the two people in the mission team, and cliges, whom has accepted *every* mission team in this round so far, and double-approved the first (failed) mission team.
One mission further, we again find 3 people approving: And again, 2 of them are on the team.
The odds of there not being a spy in that set of 4 - jpr/tamius (proposal 2-1) and aedan/tonka (proposal 2-2) are pretty much nil, and cliges approved both of them, making the odds of him being resistance and not approving a team with at least 1 spy in there literally nil.

Really cliges, having doubts is fine, but approving *every* team thrown in is just asking for sabotaged teams.

The only team Cliges rejected so far is the cliges/tonka/randakar proposal - the very first one.
Question is: Why? If I assume he is a spy (not certain at all, mind) and assume he was not rejecting just because it was the first proposal (not impossible) then the only remaining reason I can think of is that tonka is also a spy.

So far the theory.
Testing it is a different matter. Ideally you'd have a team with both of them, or neither of them, to test this.

For me, it would make more sense for a Spy to reject a lot of teams so as to disclaim responsibility.
