At a certain moment I thought a lot about name of that dynasty. :D

And thanks for a lot of info.
Now I checked that SVN-Repository and you have nice collection of maps... and that family tree, if you done them completey in-game, just hats off.
Actually I used an even larger family tree that can be accessed at ancestry.com while I sorted through the dynasties. Currently 324 people, not all of them canon. The Witcher world has serious timeline issues, especially with the Temerian rulers. Currently they all died and gave birth at a very early age. This was necessary due to some major inconsistencies in the timeline.

Also, I remember that during development of aGoT there was some problems with traits, game was giving always some random ones to character. It got fixed? I mean, there is option to have only selected in .txt file traits?

If you don't define enough traits (I don't recall the actual number. 3? 4?) the engine randomly adds some more on startup. This isn't have to be bad per se as it adds some uncertainty to the game. Currently most of the characters (even unimportant ones) have their stats 100% defined.
I might want to remove that from at least the unimportant ones (wives, younger brothers, etc.) at some point (maybe even programmatically).
Special traits can be (and are in the mod) exempt from this.

Edit: For those who want to view that family tree, go to ancestry.com and log in with username geralt_rivia / password geralt_rivia.

Fast questions, (I gonna post bug reports later).
http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Ida_Emean_aep_Sivney
Where she is in-game? What is her name? I cant find.
She's not in game - the blue mountains haven't gotten their history yet
What about adding such trait to game?
http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Aen_Saevherne
Possibly, but it will require some events to make it work, so it's low priority.
And where is Zoltan (dwarf fom books)?
If I remember correctly in Saskia's court.
http://wiedzmin.wikia.com/wiki/Bras_z_Ban_Ard
He too? Pretty important sorcerer imho.
I thought the guy was just merchant, but if he is a sorcerer I have just the place for him.

I'm really wonder why this mod isn't popular as others. It makes me damn sad. :(

But this time another Bug Report:

1. Event connected to court priestess position. Need to be changed. (and other events too)
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHLY/KWE0myxZgjQ/s1152/2014-02-01_00001.jpg

2. As Elves I couldn't invite sorcerer.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHLc/bh3ETHCLZf4/s1152/2014-02-02_00004.jpg

3. All Headmasters need to have sorcerer trait. Just make some fast event, which will give it them.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHLU/rrcwDM5OKD0/s1152/2014-02-02_00014.jpg

4. Another example of previously reported bug. After 40+ years once again only Geralt is alive from starting witchers. Also, this time I needed to wait 40 years for witcher to appear in my lands.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHL0/Xhpw2bQAwbg/s1152/2014-02-02_00021.jpg

5. Delete prestige req. for feasts, really. When I have negative prestige I can only spam summer fairs to gain some prestige, but it isn't enough.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHLw/LoreioA1g28/s1152/2014-02-02_00027.jpg

6. Female rulers can't hold tournament and can't go on grand hunt.

7. Only 0.01 per month? It should be 0.1 yeah?
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHMM/sNTUFqgFii4/s1152/2014-02-02_00036.jpg

8. Broken event for having children with lover. She is pregnant for entire years. Sorry, but don't know what event in specific.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHMI/1OfEP1vC9V0/s1152/2014-02-02_00039.jpg

9. Another event to change
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHME/_XP6VJ_Ob3c/s1152/2014-02-02_00041.jpg

10.
If I remember correctly in Saskia's court.
I found him in files, but still he isn't in-game.
https://picasaweb.google.com/114873234292036106183/YouReChoosingIMPlaying#5975790589457934066

11. Add ambition (like in aGoT for example) to gain skill (at all or better) in fighting. Also, maybe add events about improving that ability after winning in tournaments or during duels in battle.

12. History of Nilf rulers is missing one important character.
Usurper.
That guy killed father of Emhyr and took the throne.
That's why Emhyr ended in Cintra.
But he isn't at all in history. :)

13. Biggest isse of this bug report:
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHLs/CnOzIgE7JXQ/s1152/2014-02-02_00024.jpg

Delete Voice of Satan/Jesus gives military advice.

But that isn't so important. Sorcerers (immortals) and Elves (less immortal) have big, really big chances during their live (cause obvious their life is long) to gain possesed trait. Lower it for Elves/Sorcereres? Or add ability to heal it as Sorcerer and lower it for Elves?

Questions:
Saskia is immortal like Sorcerers yeah?

Interesting screens:
My kin (he's Elf!) just became host and declared war for some duchy in Nazair. Epic.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-VJfqkOJJv8c/Uu5I6a5gDMI/AAAAAAAAHM0/uundrAx8Gdk/s1152/3.jpg

Saskia geting pwned from Henselt. Epic too.

Opinion:

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-i0ALaH8y9aY/Uu5I6XXdB5I/AAAAAAAAHMw/uf98hFgPeQ0/s1152/4.jpg

I know it's newly implemented and works, but huh... Nilf declared war against North after losing some of it vassals what is... weird.

So it's my idea:
Completely change situation in Nilfgaard. There should be more wars about usurpers etc. not independence factions. Going for independance should be pretty hard, and mostly possible for northern provinces of empire.
I would advice to expand de_jure Nilfgaard to the north.
And do it somewhat (I know, it's hard) that most rebelious vassals of Nilfgard will be those people, who got conquered in the North.
Imho Nazair and Touissant should be mostly pleasant and content vassals of Nilfgaard and all north from them should be pretty much rebellious. But I don't know if it can be done in-game.

P.S.
I will probably do some .txt. file with list of my reports, to not have them forgotten.
And I'm going to change my avatar, having same as talias is confusing.

And bug report from previous post isn't the everything, what I have for you.
When I was visiting my grandparents, I run observe game.

Year: 1624

Situation:

Few fast conclusions:
Chances for revolts should be lowered, because now it's impossible to change religion of provs and cultures (cultures should be harder to change btw.)
When I stopped the save, Nilf was already dealing with 15th kreve revolt, 12th melitele revolt and some liberation of Cintra.

2014-02-02_00055.jpg

For last 200 years Kovir was ruled... by Carduin.
Probably for half of it or even more he was incapable.
So add healing from being incapable for sorcerers or kill them few years after they became incapable to make it ok.

2014-02-02_00058.jpg

Add healing for blinding too? Or maybe not, but pretty often Sorcerers are blinded what is looking weird. Maybe just disable blinding sorcerers?

And as you can see, both the longest living sorceres became possesed. So really, delete it for them. :)

That save finally convinced me that Hakland have too low aggressiveness. It never did second invasion, what's even funnier, it converted to elven religion!

Because you moved Freya to other religion group, they can't no longer marry with people from continent what makes them most stable kingdom in the world. After 2 starting rulers royal dynasty got changed and held Skellige to the end of observe games. :D It is possible to allow them for raiding, while still allowing them to have normal relations with people from continent?

Sorry for polish wiki, but we need them too (dwarfs) in-game:
http://wiedzmin.wikia.com/wiki/Munro_Bruys
http://wiedzmin.wikia.com/wiki/Figgis_Merluzzo
http://wiedzmin.wikia.com/wiki/Percival_Schuttenbach
(no rulers, so low priority ;p)

Also, he should be the mayor of Vergen, no some random human:

And he probably his heir:
http://wiedzmin.wikia.com/wiki/Skalen_Burdon

Job titles depends on their lieges gender, not on holders.

2. As Elves I couldn't invite sorcerer.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHLc/bh3ETHCLZf4/s1152/2014-02-02_00004.jpg
Currently northern rulers are the only ones that can hire sorcerers, but once elves have gotten their history and some starting sorcerers they should be set since elves have twice as large chance to have magic talent.

3. All Headmasters need to have sorcerer trait. Just make some fast event, which will give it them.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHLU/rrcwDM5OKD0/s1152/2014-02-02_00014.jpg
Academies themselves are bit incomplete, but since I went through all the trouble to have no randomly generated sorcerers, I'm thinking of a bit different solution - having academy holder elected from sorcerer currently in academy.

4. Another example of previously reported bug. After 40+ years once again only Geralt is alive from starting witchers. Also, this time I needed to wait 40 years for witcher to appear in my lands.

Already fixed.

11. Add ambition (like in aGoT for example) to gain skill (at all or better) in fighting. Also, maybe add events about improving that ability after winning in tournaments or during duels in battle.

I have changed the independence faction so that solar religion can't join with emperor being god and all that. Basically that leaves independence faction with just most northern rulers and normally they are too weak to declare indepencence. Additionaly Nilfgaard has gotten two cbs so they can keep together and expand more successfully.

Thanks for the report, my comments are in bold.

There isn't anything done with lover events, but I'll check
I remember that I got some event about "stillborn" or something like that, but skipped it.

Sorcerers can heal blinding with their heal decision.
AI know how to do it? Or is set to always use that decision? As you can see, Francessa isn't drained. :)

As for Halkand invasion, I know they have it, but they're still doing nothing.
Changing from aggression = 2.0 to 4.0 or something can change their behavior? Or if I think correctly, 2.0 is max and there is nothing what can be done about them?

Which version are you using, as in SVN build revolts have been modified and gotten 5 year cooldown.
From SNV, but seems like it's working, if it's 5 years, then ok. :)

Another observe game, but this time only 1500 year (latest verion with towers):

ck2_map_1.jpg

Seems like change for Nilf factions is working.

Fast bugs:
Nilf can attack Dryads.
Francesca died a natural death, at age of 402. Bug? (no negative health traits)
Some other sorcerers too, but they were having incapable trait. I mean they didn't died because of incapable but still causa of death was "natural", not comatose in bed.
Events about killing incapable sorcerers or healing them are now really needed. :)

Don't know if you implemented fix for witchers already, but again only Geralt is alive (around 1500 year).
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHP8/8MPq8QMVUjM/s1152/2014-02-04_00003.jpg

Temerian AI is not using decision to obtain Wyzima.
And decision itself is not changing the capital.

Also, when I loaded 1500 y Temeria (or any other northern kingdom), I don't have decision to invite sorcerer. Basically, all kingdoms dont have sorcerers in their court.

Event chain about magic talent for Elves is not working probably. I send my child to my sorc Francesca, but after being raised is still has only magic talent flag.

Add decision for creation of ducal title of Novigrad, if city itself is held by Grand Mayor? (similar to Genua from vanilla)
And disallow for creation of Novigrad duchy and kingdom for feudal characters.

I don't know if I reported it aleady, but Elves don't like each other because of their racial trait. (probably same for dwarfs) :)

Elfves die at about 400 years, but the event ignored elves who are sorcerers.
Some other sorcerers too, but they were having incapable trait. I mean they didn't died because of incapable but still causa of death was "natural", not comatose in bed.
They shouldn't sorcerers have no events to kill them, so they should be able only to die by disease, assassination or battle.
Events about killing incapable sorcerers or healing them are now really needed. :)
Not gotten around to, I'm currently working on special mechanics for Nilfgaard.

Don't know if you implemented fix for witchers already, but again only Geralt is alive (around 1500 year).

They get same opinion that is larger than general opinion penality, so they actually like each other more than humans.
Thanks for the report.

EDIT:
Do you have a save for the problem with magic talent?
How old the child was when you made Francesca his guardian?
Did you get notification when child turned adult about him learning magic?

Last edited:

I loaded game as all major kingdoms using that observe game, and there was no decision in intrigue tab to invite them. I also checked and there was no sorcerers in their councils.

hey get same opinion that is larger than general opinion penality, so they actually like each other more than humans.
Oh, didn't saw this.

As for Dryads, I was wrong. It was Cidaris, who conquered it/inherited.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAHQU/tmUWln_SVyY/s1152/2014-02-04_00014.jpg

There is screen for it.
Last Dryad queen died without offspring, so maybe lady from Cidaris inherited it.

You can only invite sorcerers if there is a sorcerer in any academy, currently only ways for academy to get sorcerers are from children sent there, but it seem there isn't enough influx of children. So most likely academy should generate some sorcerers one in awhile.

For me it seems as if people get stuck being sorcerers' apprentices. I had 6 or so middle aged men at Ban Ard. Maybe after a certain age the education can't be finished anymore?

By the way, about it:

But should Elves die also about 80 years and so on (for natural death?)
Or only past-400 for natural death?

Unlanded Elves do die too early. Of course their children-making needs a rework as well (talias had a pretty nice suggestion for that). But if an Elf sires a ton of children it is very likely that he survives 90% of them. They tend to die at age 90 from natural causes. Blood suggested for the Middle Earth Elves that health 15-16 is the point were they won't die of natural causes anymore. The 6 extra health I gave them doesn't seem to help much.

Another observe game, but this time only 1500 year (latest verion with towers):
Towers aren't quite done yet. I'll need to make sure that those can't be held by non-mages. Currently mages tend to be killed (as the liege is their heir) and revoked (for whatever reason).
Also I plan to add some more here and there as Cintra, Nilfgaard, Lyria, ... don't even have one of those. That and some new tower-buildings as well as wilderness as place holders for towers without a mage.

Elves are immortal and killed by event at about 400 years, their death will be natural. The fixed event will kill incapable elves quicker and they will get proper death by comatosis in bed.

That's what I'm talking about, I had 2 elves holding kingdoms, both of them died around 80 from natural death.

Fast report:

Change "Radowidowie" to "Radowid".
Radowidowie in polish is plural, so now it look just dumb. ;) It would be like writing "Karlings" in the name of the dynasty instead of "Karling".

Again about same thing, but when I loaded old save on new version, it seems like adding 3.0 factor for possesed and releated events do nothing...

Just few years after I started the game 3 pretty important characters got voice of the Jesus, becoming super-rulers. I would really, really advice to delete those events at all.
They just doesn't fit into game and are breaking any immersion. (characters completely changing to best/worst possible ones.)

There is no Est Haemlet next to Loc Muinne?
http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Est_Haemlet
First missing place, which I found. :D

Also you did some weird change, cause now I don't have special CoA for specific dynasties, when starting new game.

Temeria have ERE-decision for capital, so maybe do it for others to? :)
Redania is having it capital in Tretogor since Vestibor, so it justified enough imho.

Also you did some weird change, cause now I don't have special CoA for specific dynasties, when starting new game.
Can you be more specific, do you mean the dynasties with actually known CoAs, or that some dynasties just got different CoA.
