Given what the JL (here assumed to be Von_Rund and Aedan, for the most part) was actually doing (basically getting every innocent killed), and the early Seer death basically opening it up to all kinds of infiltration, it really could not be relied upon.

The no-hunt was annoying. It made me suspect Aedan even more, since I thought it likely that he would have been made aware. The lack of werewolf hunter outing also made me more intrigued. All in all, I had very little solid information to go on, most of it being behavioral analysis (which obviously does not and will never work on Split :)). Oh, and I also had a superb alibi that got pretty much ignored, which was the breaking of the triple tie in Day 1, with no baddies involved in it. There's no reasonable explanation that accounts for both that and myself being a baddie.

I'll end with an advice I sometimes forget myself, which is that more important than being honest is looking honest. The village ultimately lost because most of us looked less honest than the wolves.

PS: Don't ask someone publicly in the thread to get in contact with you as Von_Rund did. You can use the personal profile page (not completely safe, but still more discrete), for example. People tend to find that suspicious.

I wouldn't have trusted Aedan-von_Rundstedt to find a wolf without a scan, but it was pretty obvious to trust them and to give their word some weight when they said they didn't want someone lynched for nebulous reasons. Especially after they'd been defending the priest and GA. They were caught out by EURO, but not all of us are so awesome as to smell him out from a one line PM:

Great, now Kiwi since I think there is only 1 alpha announce the fullproof JL protection thing where GA protects you one night, and medic the other.

As it happens, no one has claimed doctor :)

von Rundstedt used his seerish powers on aedan as requested, clearing him. pjnlsn didn't change his orders and so he scanned glio (clear) rather than aedan, who he scans tonight. That particular piece of info I'm not telling anyone, so be careful with it.

Johho is a witness. This is fine; we'll keep him alive and get him to use it on the other pack. EURO is claiming seerish owers. I smell a rat, but whatever.

I think that's everything since last night.

As a villager, you needed to then step back, stop making it about you vs them, and realise GUG was sitting smugly on the sideline. As a spectator I actually thought you must have been the last Omega getting desperate, possibly with tamius alongside, because you'd taken so much screen time for youself.

So yeah, the villagers were doing a good job of making themselves lynchable, and you were far from alone in that :)

I really phoned it in this time, guys. Sorry.

I've just got in touch with my doctor again, though, so next game I should be ok.

How could I be the last Omega, and still decide to save two people unknown to me, possibly even of the opposite pack, by sniping the day 1 lynch? Had no way to know you were a distiller.

Yes, gug was on the sideline. So were Cliges, Gliomarto and tamius. Yet, Aedan's actions were the only ones not making any sense at all from a goodie point of view, and cursed turns could have made anyone a baddie.

Wouldn't a wolf do exactly as you say? (while still getting rid of the priest via hunt).

It really wasn't that big a deal, it doesn't prove anything. It'd even look bad if you hadn't acted and were known to be online.

Which is why aedan should have announced himself earlier, when it was known he was blessed. There weren't that many no hunts, and you all had a fairly good (and accurate) idea that the first unexplained one was the alphas getting wiped out.

They wouldn't know to do it, since the JL had had a chance to form around scanned players.

And if you lean into the computer screen, you can actually taste the bitterness.

There were multiple seerish power and witness villagers, plenty enough for a village win. I thought that part of the setup was particularly well managed.

Woo, way to go team!

Seer lynched early, wolves win.

Nothing new.

Village was doing quite good in the early days, even with the seer dead. Then we got two consecutive bandwagons priest outing his role and then deleting the post and some more nasty things.

I wouldn't say the seer early lynch was the main reason of the villagers loss.

Considering that the wolves would have destroyed each other if Aedan's hunt had been stopped, this does seem a bit sour.

Invisible mode is wonderful. Oh, and I could have acted after the deadline, failing the snipe on purpose. Really, what's not to like as a wolf when the village decides to do a triple tie without anyone in your pack, and without you having to pull any strings whatsoever? There's no reason for me, as a wolf, to not allow the three guys to be lynched, in such a small player game it would place my pack in a fairly advantageous situation.

Was for a different game. Not that I'd care. I wanted people to see we cooperate - together with Kiwi's PM the GA and priest could have taken a clue from it. With just two guys it's really impossible to do anything meaningful; no scans, no protections, and way too many targets to choose from.

I don't have much to add. I told Kiwi I had priestly powers, he told me to scan pjnlsn. I found out he we was a preist, but Kiwi died before I told him.

Good game guys, and thanks for hosting daffius, was fun till I got hunted and my dreams of killing everyone but me and kiwi got crushed.

Oh, damn. I feared this to be the case, but not much we could do with reis acting like that.

What, reversed psychology?

EDIT: was I hunted because I demoted tamius to the suspect list or was I too obvious a goodie again or something else?

On GUG's recommendation:

Not too sure about EURO hunting now.

We could use misguided johho to our advantage and hunt reis tonight. Or we could eat johho.

What do you think?
Johho's a good target, let's get him.

Let's make it so, then.

Hunt johho.
Backup reis
Backup Cliges

I had a hunch that you would be a good target; after all, your reasoning skills have an many a WW game.

Acting like withholding information from the village deliberately? Or not being happy with a triple tie full of villagers, as the rest of the village seemed to be? Please shut up.
