For the first time in my time playing CKII I decided to try out NK-mode. Here are the results.

To compare with how one of the best Lords was doing playing the vassal game here is Eddard Stark most honorable man in the Seven Kingdoms, dealing with his second revolt. EDIT: He also lost baby Sansa to a still birth.

I did NK mode with Stannis, but that was only because I was going broke and burning people is cool. Plus you are invulnerable to plots

Oh yeah, here's screen shot of said event.

All the lunatic kings makes me happy.

Best I've got so far is somehow my four-year old brother, a Martell, became Lord Paramount of the Riverlands (Tully mother, regular marriage, dead Tully brother means inheritance passed on to the next closest-related male), while his Tully half-brother from his mother's second marriage (Matrilineally to Haegan Blackfyre) became King on the Iron Throne when his Blackfyre, usurper King father died after a successful rebellion. Oh right, and my father's sister is matrilineally married to the Lord Paramount of the Reach, sooo....

Basically, long-live the Martell-Tullys!

I actually had to burn Davos after he betrayed :/ Stupid opinion modifiers don't take into account Davos' loyalty

Barristan was plotting against me as Dany because I gained tyranny points for eating the Lannisters, Freys, and Boltons

Meet priest Balerion of Driftmark! What an awesome fiery sermons he must give unto his heavenly flock :D As I seem to be unable to get dragons tamed myself I have opted to "recruit" Targaryens to do it for me. Our holy Balerion also seems to want to tame a dragon so stay tuned for possible dragon riding dragon scenario.

Not so much one WTF moment, just my general experience with the Targaryens. One example I have is this one king, Jaehaerys III who married a Valeryon and (of course) took his sister as a lover, he had eight daughters. The brother of Jaehaerys III succeeded him as Rhaegar I, and he made the eight twice, once with a lady from the seven kingdoms and the riverlands, and once with all eight of his nieces. I am still cleaning up all the bastard of shoots that Rhaegar fathered.

And of course this:

I later invited one of his ruin-kids that was a strong skilled commander to my court and made him my master at arms. And had him lead troops. And I married him to one of my daughters.

You thinks it's weird falling in love with your daughter as a Targ? Try doing it as a Baratheon. NOW that was a messed up king I played as
