And how come Ikarus, which arrived 3rd in the first round, made it already and we need to vote again for the first and second buses?

There is something weird.

I would like to see both in the new Dlc, no question about that. I mean we could use the Man on regular lines and the Mercedes on high density lines. Ikarus is a different time period, so it has a bulkier, more robust look. Personally i could live with all the three articulated buses, but if we can get only two, i'm kind of ok with the older and newer design in a mix. If this Dlc would be successful then we could get one more at least, maybe more...

To be honest, all three would be awesome, I'm even willing to pay more.

I have a question . look your picture. this car no Air-conditioning and the windows is cannot open . In summer , the passengers feel very hot ??

I don't know where and how, but they have some kind of air conditioning, last summer when we had around 25C and they were coolest buses in our city (even compared to those who have separate air con unit on the roof) and they have windows (on both sides at front 2 and at back 1).

Maybe they have some kind of new system. They're all built on 2013/2014.

Thank you . our city in summer is around 39C. The air conditioning is important.:rofl:

Air conditioning system

The air conditioning system has been completely upgraded for the latest generation of the MAN Lion's City bus series. The new generation of the air conditioning system provides optimal conditions in the passenger compartment. As opposed to the models previously installed, these air conditioning systems work far more quietly and efficiently. Additionally, the air conditioning system has become lighter, needs less energy and is easier to maintain.

This! Why even make a poll if you won't honour the results?! Ridiculous. Friggin bs is what this is.

It might sound weird if you do not consider the aspect of diversity. If you do, it makes perfect sense since one of those will get a slot. CO is definitely honouring the results as they include the vehicles which were voted the most under consideration of diverse design, time periods and regions. Don't get me wrong - I would have loved to get both, the MAN and the Mercedes, but I also feel, respecting an imbalance in the voters' origins is just fine. I hope the Mercedes and the HK series will make it into the game in another way or in the future though maybe :)

I am glad we got a Player's Choice at least and think, hate is not necessary.

What's the point of having a poll if you do not respect the results? Don't be ridiculous. I didn't see any disclaimers implying cultural diversity would override the results. I'm sick of their bs. I knew they were going to weasel their way out of the results somehow and lo and behold, here it is. Absolutely disgusting, but nevertheless - expected. Oh well, fool me once.

Eh, but they did respect the results. I mean, the poll was held so they can see which vehicles are the most wanted. The Ikarus was very popular in the poll, having only 3 votes less then the CapaCity. And they decided that it would be better to have two different vehicles (both with about the same number of votes) then to have only two very similar ones.

Exactly! They are respect and follow the poll results. I agree with the choice of mixing a newer and older design together, even if i would like to see both modern buses in the dlc. There is a chance that the american one will also be an articulated bus, so one of our most important wish finally came true, more articulated bus to the game. However, I hope that we could get at least one more player choice dlc in the future...

Harsh words.. Why would CO want to weasel their way out of the results? In order to make players sad and make less people buy the DLC?
I think, trying to make the best they can and to find a way to offer a vehicle for everyone makes more sense.

Why? I don't know. I would think that making what the majority wanted would translate to more sales than yielding to a statistically insignificant (from the poll's standpoint) minority. But what would I know, apparently what the majority wants doesn't really matter, CO know better. Maybe you're right, maybe they will get more sales out of it and good luck to them, but I can tell you this much - they definitely lost one along with any further interest I may have had in this franchise.
 
As a person who will purchase this DLC, I feel it would be a waste of money to have TWO buses that look very similar in one DLC. Diversity, my friend. Something I'm used to, living where I do, in both people and transit equipment.

Indeed, I made the decision to add the choice between these two buses. Thank you for the support!

I'm very sorry it has been upsetting to some of you :(
