If there's no vote switches (which I doubt) Ithvan's vote could be the decider, but only if he shows up.

A tie between HDK and Ithvan wouldn't even be a bad idea, if we're going to lynch Ithvan anyway.

Yes, but I'm wary of a tie. I think I'll vote switch to Ithvan if there's a chance of one.

We get one free tie without moving closer to parity, and with a wolf already dead, we don't lose much in a tie, and both HDK and Ithvan are major candidates, that'll be lynched sooner or later, may as well wrap it up in one day and move on.

Yep. Does that math work out regardless of how many wolves were lynched, though?

Well we have 9 villagers to 3 wolves today. Assuming no ties and only villagers killed-
7-3
5-3
3-3 parity

With a tie today-
6-3
4-3
2-3 Parity
So it still works out as no days lost to parity.

*sigh* Ok I guess. I'm just hoping we don't end up with a day one thing, only worse if they both end up villager.

This is different from a day one thing, since we have actually evidence against them, this isn't random. They will keep getting run up, so we may as well end them both at once. Even if they are both villagers, a tie is better.

Has there been any change in the vote, or does the last count still stand?

It's quiet. Too quiet.

Indeed. But to find that telling little detail you need to look through a lot of "smoke". Experienced/better players can more easily jump directly to the stuff that matters. I tend to present what I see as potentially unusual/suspicious and allow other a chance to read and examine it and add their take on it which helps me solve the mystery. Too much mad conspiracy theories... I know. But I do believe I am slowly getting back in the right mindset to be of use in these games.

That's actually a great thing, and it sure can be useful. I'm just saying, try to stay simple with your theories, it's okay to brush away little worries...

I am. Already said so. I just need some time to work out where to look.

Yup, I noticed that, but was giving a general idea.

This is exactly what I mean by presenting an idea/theory and having other people add their take on it. I thank you for it and it does indeed go a long way in further clearing Marty.

Good, than :)

I usually don't mind secrets as much as this, but this time around that secret was so much part of the answer to real Marty's intentions I found it impossible to neglect. I have since come to the conclusion he's an unlikely suspect regardless of it (due to so actively trying to get the wolf lynched) I'm prepared to ignore the secret part and let it remain a mystery.

That's where I was getting at!

This will have to be a quick and dirty summary to present my reasons for placing a vote. As such it is very likely to contain inaccuracies, if not outright mistakes:

The Split was only suspicious by association in my fuzzy mind yesterday. The associated culprit (Marty) has been cleared and although no proof of his innocence his vote on the General gives him a pass for now.

I had Aeadan, Mad C and the Marshall down as likely villagers yesterday and their votes on the General gives them a pass as well today. There's a lot to be said about the Marshall, but particularly the fact that the General voted him and nearly got him lynched strengthen my theory he cannot be a baddie.

Alxeu is apparently cleared by the fact the General voted him at some junction yesterday. How the General's final vote on the Marshall can be considered an alibi and self-preservation, while his vote on Alxeu makes him an all but certain villager escapes me atm, but lacking time to go back and take a closer look I'll take your advice and give him a pass. I still insist that his own behaviour in the thread screams "I'm a baddie, please lynch me!". You need to speak up Alex or you will forever be the easy lynch in lack of obvious candidates.

I will give the Doctor one more day of grace due to this being his first game here. It may be stupid, but there's 3 wolves left and with the amount of evidence in front of us we should be able to pinpoint one of the other 2.

With Marty being established as everyone's favourite villager I'm left with Marhall-voter Ithvan, scapegoatAlex-voter Panzer and throwaway?-voter hdk. Out of those 3 I have absolutely nothing to go on making up an opinion on the hdk. I would appreciate input from them all on what makes them a bad lynch for today, but I need input from the hdk the most, so...

unvote Marty
vote the hdk

Oy

Well, I can't really say why I'm a bad lynch, RL got in the way and is still getting in the way of me being of much help in this game, but thankfully you guys seem to understand and I'm not getting many votes here :)

I haven't been this excited in a while

I won't post more counts before deadline, since I just risk someone voting before I post the count and not having enough time to correct, so people think the count is different than it is. It came too close to that yesterday.
