We saw an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, and we took it. It almost worked. The only question now is, why did it not work?

Well, don't look at me. I wasn't even trying hard (for me, I didn't like that specific tie), but I unvoted the_hdk and he still ends up on top somehow. Go figure.

And tonkatoy is saying what I really want to say but am restraining myself from doing so.

Why? easy. One group wanted a two-way tie, and the other wanted a 5-way tie, and both sides reacting to the other got things into a mess. today will hopefully be more orderly.

Doesn't really hold water because Marshall's vote on hdk is the one breaking the tie.

But you didn't make your intention to snipe known, at least I don't think so. Everyone else I had vaguely accounted for, but without any kind of reasoning at all you sniped at the deadline. And generally sniping without a good reason or forewarning to someone is frowned upon.

Yeah, I did wrong. My way of thinking was, I made that post some 5 minutes before deadline asking whether I should vote Ithvan or HDK(RP or Game) and Tonka replied game, not "do not move" so I thought that was a greenlight to move my vote to HDK

Well you made a tie, that was promptly broke by many people, then Tonka remade the tie, then I broke it. And your vote didn't really help, since there were a number of plans for sniping to a tie, and your vote switch interfered with both of them.

Well, sure, but how was I supposed to know? I already said how things looked from my POV

3 if ithvan didn't vote, 5 I think if he did, and a adaptive tie if the marshall thing occured which it did and everything failed.

I haven't had time to do any real analysis this game. What little thoughts I've made I've passed on already.


If I had to guess, though, Ithvan and...you? Panzer? Livingstone? Maybe even Marshall. *shrug* I don't really care about giving the village advice if I die, they have enough skill themselves to complete the task.
EDIT: Livingstone and Ithvan. That's my best guess. But it's pretty tight.

I'd say you and Panzer both share the blame in this ordeal though I think panzer was just confused and not up to date.
