Cities in Motion 2: European Vehicle Pack
THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND & ROUND Pack yourself in one of five new vehicles inspired by the efficiency of large European cities and designed to keep your cities in motion. These new vehicles are not only easy on the eye, but they ride like a seamless untroubled dream. Jump on and experience the thrill of Jubilee GL and Roadmaster 2000. The Roadmaster is a modern classic and a very recognizable one with its two-storey build and red colour scheme. The GL might be slow on the turn, but makes up for that with fuel efficiency and low maintenance. For those who like to stay the course whilst being partial to rails, there is the City 26 tram, with its very low fuel consumption. For larger masses, try out the Galaxie HK metro train, or when your system serves huge amounts of people, head straight for the Musketeur 01. The Musketeur 01 has a sophisticated, sturdy and steel design that offers much despite its large fuel consumption. Become the conductor. Do the locomotion!

At first I was very happy to see my beloved Capacity appearing in the game, that turned around when I saw it had the same number of seats as the 12 meter version of the same bus... There's no use for an articulated version if it doesn't add space for any more passengers. After the last DLC forum members had already stated that they wanted some logic in the vehicle capacity, with the examples of the Tatra having the same number of seats as the Sirio, the Lion's City having only one seat more then the Comet and the Nova LFS having less seats than non-articulated busses. You refused to listen. Now the bus with the largest capacity of the busses used in the game ends up somewhere in the middle, while the Routemaster, with half the capacity, gets the largest number of seats. That's just plain stupid.

are you kidding me?.png

Im very sorry, but I have to disagree. We are not suppose to need to fix this. Plus the vehicle editor mod is not that easy to deal with. I think its not that hard that CO would make an articulated bus with more capacity than a non-articulated bus.

I make my words the last phrase of post number 2.

Perhaps it would be better if CO could incorporate a vehicle editor in the game! It's not rocket science.
That would keep us all happy.

I find the the vehicle editor very useful, my bendy buses have a greater capacity than the double-deckers!(except the new Boris bus) :D

Love the Roadmaster 2000 (New Bus for London) - a large capacity bus with decent service quality. Perfect for those routes where a Maurice Automaton just doesn't cut it anymore! :D

Orion 5 and and XD60 for the win

NABI 60 BRT, and XN40/XN60 FTW. NOT the XD40/XD60, the diesel Xcelsiors are hideous, CNG FTW.

I ride Orion Vs every weekday on the bus route I ride to and from work from the train station - Orion Vs are $hit buses to say the least. I'd rather have another European bus than have that piece of crap in my fleet.

Siemens S70 LRV for tram, and NYC R160 for Metro. Perfect North American DLC pack.

You would get my vote for NYC R160. Although I'm pretty done with DLC right now.

Actually, same here. There have been about 12 DLC packs, I would really like more improvements to the actual game. It's a pretty solid simulation right now, but there are just a few relatively small issues that need to be address. It's so close yet so far from being absolutely fantastic.

I think the LACMTA LRVs or the LRVs used in the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail would better represent us. Also, the R160 as well as an R68, R62 or a Redbird. The Orion Vs are amazing. In fact, the only other Orion bus to match that greatness is the Orion VII 3G. I don't want to see any Xcelsiors though. They are not a favorite of mine. The RTS is an amazing American classic, so I would vote for that too.

You shall never be done.

Born, Raised, and Living in LA, I would rather see LA LRVs myself. However, the Siemens S70 is used on several LRT systems around the country, which is why I figured it was a good all-around pick that represents a wide range of cities in the US. San Diego, Minneapolis, Charlotte, Houston, Salt Lake, etc. all use S70 LRVs. LACMTA are definitely more representative of US style Light Rail, while the S70 is much closer to a European Tram in design. I completely disagree about the Hudsen-Bergen LRVs, though I would be happy either way.

The Orion Vs do offer a nice ride when they are actually working properly, i'll give you that. RTS is a good one, though I would much rather have another NABI or a New Flyer. Personally, my all time favorite is the C40LF/LFR. The Xcelsiors had their issues at first, but they do seem pretty solid after riding on them throughout SoCal. I REALLY want to see a NABI 60 BRT though.

I am sorry but I saw my beloved MF01 proposed for player's choice dlc appeared this one, and demanded me 5€ for getting this. I am not an idiot, stop asking money for just some modeling, as an ex-modder for some racing game, I know these poor models don't cost so much...

I will never buy this DLS at normal price and today I pre-ordered train-fever, I would like to cost these money on another perhaps better game, not these cheap models and textures. :(

Train Fever looks nice, but it's definitely more of a Chris Sawyer's Locomotion replacement than competing with Cities in Motion 2. Train Fever is more focused on intercity rail than urban. Even after viewing the videos, while I'll definitely be buying, I still think Cities in Motion 2 is a better simulation overall, even if it may not be as polished.

I wish I had track system(switches, ease of upgrading, etc) from Train Fever in Cities in Motion 2, but CiM2's representation of buses, trolleys, trams, and monorails has no equal right now. Even CiM2s representation of car travel and highways(Although it could definitely be improved) in general looks miles ahead that of Train Fever. This is my opinion of course as someone who is obsessed with transportation. I concede that I'm purely basing this off of videos and screenshots though. I could be completely wrong about train fever.

A fusion of both would be really awesome. Streets from CiM2, Tracks from TF, Pathfinding from TF, Citygrowing from TF, Vehicles and Easyness from CiM2 .. perfect.
