I'm very disappointed in this village. I put in a lot of thought and a lot of work in the time I had after I subbed in and I really felt like I left the village within striking distance of a win. The al-Aziz lynch actually made the whole pack show their cards. Kaisersohaib might have been the most obvious, but you'll note that the only people not voting al-Aziz by the end of the day were her packmates. Gorgan and Aedan then proceeded to packvote Xarkan early the day after kai died, which is what confirmed gorgan to me as the last packmember.

I can't believe noone really called Aedan out on blatantly sabotaging my attempt to rally the village on day 3.

I couldn't believe it when Wagon(?) commented on aedan's playstyle, saying that aedan couldn't be a wolf because he was acting like a wolf, or something like that.

wat

EDIT: Probably not Wagonlitz as he get hunted night 0. And people rarely comment after the game is done saying they were wrong about something. Generally ghosts are 100% spot-on in their hindsight. So I'd say it was someone else.

Yeah, because I normally kill my packmates without hesitation if they might be lynched. I wasn't lying when I said I once built a case and got a packmate lynched against the wishes of the village. My actions when al-Aziz were different for two reasons- 1. I needed an explanation for why I hadn't been hunted yet. 2. With all the subs, it was likely an older player would sub in, and they did, so if I was lynching my packmates easily, they'd know it was how I am as a wolf.

This goes some way towards explaining how the more experienced players didn't pick up on what I found to be blatant wolfishness - I am too much of a newb to know why it wasn't

Inept play by both the wolves and the village. MIP goes to Brovahkiin, as always.

Before this sinks, I'd like to thank Arkasas for GM and happycats for playing. This is the first time I've felt truly successful in a game and while I wasn't around for all that long I had a blast while I was.

You did well.

The wolves weren't much better. As has been previously expounded, the first two hunts were sent to me and me alone by Gorganslayer, who presumably didn't know how to send a PM to more than one person. This led to al-Aziz PMing me and accidentally outing the pack. Following that, I contacted marty and EURO for advice on whether or not I should order a game restart. Obviously, that did not happen. In any case, brovahkiin (without any involvement from me, by the way) was apparently conned by al-Aziz into believing he was a wolf before being hunted that night.

Here are some PMs from the situation.
I agree with EURO that you shouldn't restart the game over that. The leak solely came from living players and as such any information coming from it is fair game---and as EURO mentioned there is precedense. Only if the leak came from ghost should you consider restarting. Otherwise you are rewarding the wolves for being stupid and potentially punishing the village which might almost have cracked the pack by itself already. After it has happened I am pretty sure whoever did it will remember to check better in the future.

I was dead, so it wasn't me.

You're welcome JK, it was a pleasure lynching wolves with you.

Also thanks Arkasas for GMing

I thought it was Night 1 when the leak occurred, as opposed to Night 3. :eek:o

It was on Day 2, after the second hunt that gorgan sent alone. Though Al-Aziz didn't send her PM to me, so I didn't realize the mistake until Latinkaiser sent his PM, hence why I blamed him for putting in Brovahkiin instead of gorganslayer.

I'll explain what happened on my end.

So this was my first round as a wolf, and I troed to step up to the plate by getting a hunt order going however I was getting no replies. So I waited as late as I could before sending in hunts, I hunted good players because I thought the rest of my pack was inactive and would be the only way to have a shot. ON day 2 I cleared things up with aedan on IRC and then we went to normal lynching/hunting. TBH I feel like I didnt play to bad this round but could've done better

Your hunts were disgusting and the aedan was active.
You could have played it nice and not hunt active players so early.

Or you now u could have respected that as I said, I tried to contact my pack but failed (damn PM system) and left it as late I could then figuring that if my pack wasnt active (because it looked like it went through on my end) I would have to try win that way, which I didnt want to. And as u saw when I managed to contact the pack I stopped.

I didn't out them because I decided it would be dishonorable

Oh well, congrats to the winner and thanks Arkasas for GMing. I guess it was a fitting end for CAWZ game that the end was decided by non-voting..

Well, their mistake. You should have outed them to make a point so they wouldn't err the next time. Was it preferable to be hunted because they made a mistake? ;) (but honestly, Lites are so quick it would not have been a catastrophe to just have the quick win; it's different on Big ones with multiple packs and all).

Or, you could have PMed them of it and subbed out if there were any subs. That way no one would have been the wiser and your successor wouldn't have been hunted because you wouldn't have told him about the slipup. That way there would be no metakillings of any role nor would the wolves have been revealed due to that mistake.

Death before dishonor, though subbing would have been a better idea yeah
