The GM will reveal all in an analysis post(s) shortly.

I got literally no PMs after the first role one. Nothing. :(

Which is partially why I was so quiet. I wasn't sure whether I was even a wolf or not.

Really, that's the best way to think of things. If you don't think you're a wolf, then you'll be less likely to act like one or slip up with extra information or secondary agendas.

I meant it when I said I hadn't read my role PM until after my initial read of the thread and pseudo analysis.

That's true, but I didn't want to slip up and accidentally backstab one of my maybe-packmates. I was trying a new tack. :(

Accidentally doing it is much better than doing it on purpose. :p

not it would not, it would have been your second win and only because I saved you from lynching on 4 different occasions during the first win.....
Wolf not win SPLIT
Also @#$% off you jerk:mad:

Told you Aedan was a wolf. But no, you lynch the old man instead! :p

Cuz they have no respect for the game!:p

To be fair with them, killing the most active players is a no-brainer if they want to win.

Well, it "is", but it kills activity and makes the game no fun. A hollow victory.

See? I told you Aedan was a wolf. I blame all of y'all for telling me to stop. (I mean really Aedan, you can see where I get suspicious of you in IRC, because you were vehemently arguing against just one vote. C'mon guys, you let him get away with it.) But fairly well played to somehow sidestep the suspicion that was repeatedly placed on you.

I think I would've reacted the same as a villager, because with the seer dead, everyone needs to vote the people they think are most likely wolves. Voting to prove a point is wasteful, and dangerous. Particularly when you follow it up with 'I don't want the person I'm voting lynched'.

The promised analysis post cometh!

Firstly, I think each of my games can be held up as examples for newbs to learn from. This game can be held up as an example of how not to play in a Lite. So many errors...

Chief among these was the village inactivity that, rather unsurprisingly, lost the game. I think we ended in a position where I could have subbed out seven players, one of whom I could have subbed out twice. Irony at its finest, folks; make a game about zombies, have a game full of zombies.

The wolves weren't much better. As has been previously expounded, the first two hunts were sent to me and me alone by Gorganslayer, who presumably didn't know how to send a PM to more than one person. This led to al-Aziz PMing me and accidentally outing the pack. Following that, I contacted marty and EURO for advice on whether or not I should order a game restart. Obviously, that did not happen. In any case, brovahkiin (without any involvement from me, by the way) was apparently conned by al-Aziz into believing he was a wolf before being hunted that night.

Here are some PMs from the situation.

Congratulations! You are members of the Zombie Underground! Please send orders that sound like wolf orders daily.

Eh... am I part of the wolf pack? Because I haven't been getting any hunt orders or anything else after this. I'm rather confused and hope that I've not been mistakenly informed or forgotten. :(

Yes, you are a wolf. I honestly have no idea what's going on with your pack; it seems like Gorganslayer is sending me hunt orders without keeping the rest of you in the loop.

Arkasas... I sent this to brovahkiin because I thought he was a wolf... I quoted your PM to him... I accidentally outed all four wolves... I may have spoiled the game. I'm so sorry. :(

I didn't even get a pm

I've got confirmation that we're in the pack bro. So who d'you think we should hunt? I'm leaning towards Rovsea, but maybe happy would be good?

Well, we are zombies, after all. ;)

But seriously aedan clue us in, why don't ya?
First: I haven't been doing anything, none of the hunt orders were mine.

Second: You idiot, Brovahkiin isn't in our pack.

*Hunt Brovahkiin*

And pray he doesn't check his inbox before deadline tomorrow.
If he does, am I within my rights as GM to restart the game?

Marty, EURO, I'd like to request your input as well, if you see this before 23:00 GMT tonight.
I think it's unfairly lenient to those fools, but you must restart the game. Not doing it would be the most morally absolute just thing, but would wreck the game if brovakhiin reveals. If he is gentlemanly and doesn't, he gets punished. In my opinion you should restart the game but make sure to give those responsible a right verbal abusing in the thread. However I could be persuaded to change my opinion if counter-arguments are strong enough.

I failed to include Marty in my terse response to you earlier. Here is what I said:

"No, you are not."

Refering to your rights as GM to restart the game. I was wrong. You have every right to restart a game for any reason. The question should be: Should you restart the game.

To that question, my answer is no, you should not.

Marty makes a good case for doing it, but he does not take precedent into account. This has happened before. The first instance I can recall occured before my time, when GeneralHannibal and HannibalBarca played the game concurrently. In a game, one played a wolf, the other a villager. The packmate of the wolf Hannibal accidentally included the other Hannibal in a pack PM. The game proceeded to end in the wolfpack being lynched. (though this was a big game and did not end the game, if I remember correctly)

The second instance was my fault. I accidentally included Randakar the seer in a pack PM, and he then proceeded to out me and my entire pack. The game proceeded without GM interruption.

What I'm saying is: tough luck. A player has made an error that will cost his side. You should let the game play out and see if his side is smart enough to make the necessary plays to survive or not.

As brovahkiin did not out the wolves, this became a moot point, but there you have it.

Due to the early hunt of the seer, the JL never really formed. The only scanned player was Skobie, the next scan was to be happycats. It's a pity, really. Rendap was sending me such funny orders...

So, I'm not Scanning but Spamming? I can Work with that.... ;)

Any other questions, or can I take my turquoise off now?

What?! I'm never a good hunt. Happy should be kept alive in every WW game.

Trying to become the next madchemist, I see? Well, luckily I created a list of steps. Check MC's sig for the link. ;)

Well, that's too bad. At least I got another wolf before losing, but I let aedan get away with the "he's playing so badly he couldn't possibly be a wolf" trick. Couldn't do a thing about it with GUG going zombie anyway, but still, I hate being wrong.

*checks list of steps

Well, there are worse things I could become than madchemist. So yeah, I'll go for becoming the next madchemist for now. :p

You should aspire to be like a Lafayette grad. I approve. :p
