Rise of the Reich!

This is my first ever AAR. However i can assure you this will of the utmost quality, keeping you entertained from the introduction to victory or defeat.!

My goals - Greenland & Iceland

I will be writing from the perspective of the Führer's secretary writing in his diary.

Spainish Civil War. 1936 - 1937

August/October : Storm clouds loom over the nationalists.
March 18th 1937: The Tide has turned.


1936

January 15th : The Sharnhorst & Gneisinau Have been launched!
Novermber 27th : Geöring's Stuka's arrive.[/B][/U]

1937

March 19th : Construction of the Seigfried line begins
May 27th : Anshluss!
June 14th : A spectacular new tank design!
June 24th : Bombs that can Fly!
Sept 18th : Franco Won

January 1st 1936

Today The Führer was presented new designs for an aircraft that can drop bombs as well as dog fight effectively! Wow! I managed to get my hands on a copy of the designs..

It's beautiful, if we can produce something like this surely Germany will rule the skies for the next thousand years!
The Führer approved the production of 3 test aircraft, testing will begin within a month!

As well as this, he has also approved plans for a new state industrial enterprise, 7 Large factories to be built and expanded upon over the course of 5 Years, He's dubbed it " The 5 Year Plan" The factories are to be based around the Czech border. at the very heart of the Reich!

January 6th 1936

So much has happened today, The Führer revealed his plans for strengthening the National Socialist party in Austria, he is using the Gestapo to create factitious media scares intended to frighten the Austrians into uniting with us, It amazes me that this is necessary, are they all blind to the threat from those Red beasts?! I will never understand, none the less soon we will be united with our brothers and sisters in the South.

As well as that our men marched into the Rhineland unopposed! the Führer says now that we have our country back it is time for new policies to help unify the people and prepare us for the future.

The Führer also Replaced a few ministers, I distrust Hjalmer he was very close with that scum swine Röhm from the SA... He's privately been critical of the SS I've heard.

June 19th 1936.

Today Two Grand Battleships were launched, Sharnhorst & Gneisenau. Today the ships were launched in Wilhelmshaven, Der Führer and his entourage took a short tour of the decks of Sharnhorst.
These ships are intended to be used to defend our oceans to the north as well as rival our Neighbours France and Great Britain.
The Führer promised Raeder the most modern navy, he is clearly making good on his promise.
38,000 Tonnes, Each.

February 4th.

The Admiral Hipper is Launched, a mediocre sized vessel at best, weighing in at 16,000 Tonnes, she was launched in Hamburg last night.

February 20th.

The Führer has ordered 3 New Airports to be constructed for the Luftwaffe's exclusive use as requested by the Reichsmarshal, Geöring..
The 3 Airports are located in:
-Leipzig
- Bremen
- Secret location is East Prußen

Not sure how you can get the thumbnail away, don't mind it, the important part is you got the pic working at the top, nice!

March 1st 1936
The 1st Panzer Korps has been established under the command of Theodor Eicke, 640 Tanks in total.

Some of the men from the 3rd Panzer division watching over the Warthe river on the Polish border, featuring the Panzer II and the new Flakvierling 36 prototype.

15 June 1936.
A conference was held in Berlin by der Führer today, The topic was about the future of The Wehrmacht, The Luftwaffe and The Kreigesmarine.

Hitler promised Reichsmarshal Göering 400 of the New Stuka type aircraft, 300 Junkers 58's for transport and 600 interceptors By the beginning of 1938.
Georing seemed content with the promise, but it was obvious he had been expecting more.

Hitler also promised Raedar atleast another 100 brand new Submarines, 3 destroyes, 2 Heavy Cruisers, and 2 Battle cruisers by the beginning of 1938.

The Wehrmacht was promised a total of 13 Light Tank Divisions and another 400,000 Infantry will be mobilized for front line services by 1938.

11 Small Army's are prepared for expansion. It is expected that at least 1.3 million men will be on the front lines ready to fight by 1940

7 July 1936

A spanish civil war has broken out, Hitler plans to meet with franco personally tomorrow however he has already told me he is going to offer franco aid.

8 July 1936
Hitler cancled his meeting with Franco, he claimed, "I might have gone but by the time I arrived it might have no longer been Franco's airport, he sarcastically chuckled, he then added i'll be speaking to him on the phone tonight."

21 August 1936.

The olympics have concluded of course our people recieved the most gold medals, we're genetically superior..
Also the Republicans are advancing, and the nationalist are in full retreat, guess they haven't started using that German equipment we sent them...

12 October 1936.
The Nationalist are still advancing, If the southern Sector falls I fear the rest of the Nationalist regime will collapse in the north soon after. Hitler is considering attempting to meet with Franco a second time to discuss further aid.

Unlike the Spanish Nationalists to not win

You've got some big plans - all those ships and over a million men? I rarely manage 1 million by '40 with all of my production set to building land units

27 November 1936.

Today we arrived in Munich with der Führer to watch an airshow orchestrated by none other than Reichsmarshal Göering, He boasted that his Luftwaffe was already superior to any potential competitor within Europe. Over 400 of the new Stuka type aircraft were featured in the air show, from east to west the sky was filled with these magnificent machines, testament to Germany's engineering superiority!

After the air show the majority of these will be flying to Köenigsberg for further training and preparation for the looming conflict.

18 March 1937.

The battle for Madrid began today, wow, last thing I heard about the civil war was that Franco was outnumbered 2:1 and in retreat, guess the generous contribution we made gave them the edge they needed. The Nationalist are on the outskirts of Madrid and artillery can be heard from the centre of the city, if the city surrenders to Franco then I have no doubt in my mind that the Nationalist will soon liberate all of Spain!
What a glorious future we will have together, the führer says we're genetically very close so we may consider them a friend!

one question... when you say your goal is Tokyo, you mean to conquer Japan or be an Ally?

One question, when you say 100 submarines, how many flotillas do you count? Is it 1 flotilla, like with aircraft units?
And good to see hordes of Stukas, a powerful weapon indeed.

1 aircraft unit = 100 aircraft
1 uboat flotilla = 10 Submarines
