The only actually good and crucial suggestion in that thread is the addition of the Kingdom of Sarawak.

Er, I'm a little kid, don't think I'm experienced enough to lead a project. Besides I want to work on Victoria 3, I'm a bit of a masochist so I want to do the economy.
 
now all we need is some support from gabe newell and V3 will be all set! oh wait... DAMMIT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

is there any way to resize pictures without needing to go through the whole preocess of editing, uploading and then finally linking? because DAYYUM.

Dont worry there is a secret word document with design several people have been adding stuff to even since HoD was half-way done. We'll get around to a Vicky eventually.

Super excellent to hear :). Guess we'll just have to play HoI4 (and whatever else is in the works) while we're waiting. Whatever you're taking while designing HoI4, make sure whoever's working on Vicky 3 takes more of that ;).

They always say that, come on, you can do it! :) So then you should be our Victoria 3 champion, because isn't the economy what drives a Victoria-project anyway?

I knew that they were going to get to Vic3 eventually by man does it feel good to hear a dev say that hasn't been abandoned.

Ill also accept CK3 but only if they bring back the CK1 provincial panels.

What is more fun? Invading Russia and France as 1940s Germany for the umpteenth time, or triggering a MASSIVE World War between all others, while you peacefully watch and sell arms and booze for profit, and to keep everyone fighting until death, and then take their stuff? :p

Victoria is FAR MORE CIVILIZED than anything else, it comes before all the others!

Who knows. Vicky3 might already be in development and we might never catch it. But hopefully, if there is ever a Victoria III, it would come with much less weird/lazy restrictions (rename ships/regiments, rename provinces, change capital etc.) than Vicky2.

Although I'd prefer Rome as much as I'd do Vicky3.

Oh, I hope this thread is good news. Whether the game gets made or not, can we leave "there'll never be a Victoria III" in 2014 where it belongs with the rest of the trash talk.

Agreed. We know that Victoria 3 does exist. Not nessecarily even as a string of code or even words, but at least as a "Hey guys, we're probably gonna make this eventually."

That being said well all know any of the 3 projects could be Victoria given that Pdx are the biggest trolls (espeically you Groogy, but we love you).

And speaking of Groogy, the true masochism is making a EU4 -> V3 converter that is compatible with CK2 converted games (The Grand GRAND Campaign.)

This is me if Johan ever comes and tells me I have to do converters all the way from the Dark ages to HOI4 and they all have to be compatible.
