I'll be honestly I'm mostly clueless when it comes to computer specs.
Minimum requirements list you need either an nvidia or AMD card.
I checked the specs for you iGPU and it does support DirectX 11, but even if the game launches it could be that it will run too slow

Also, your CPU is a dual core (the 2 extra threads are mostly negligible) and runs at 2.2 or 2.7ghz at turbo. Minimum is listed to be a 3ghz for dual cores. Granted, that is taking into account that you could run it on a 8 year old dual core 3ghz (like my own CPU) and the newest core ix could be even better on lower frequencies... But still

Your notebook is designed for portability, the opposite of gaming.

Hello,

I know that my PC meets both the minimum as well as the recommended system requirements. My question is, how much of a load will it put on my PC on average. Being able to play the game is not the same as being able to play and enjoy without any significant lagging. I don't want to 'stretch' my PC to the limit, but rather have a bit of a cushion to work with. I don't want to worry about speed of gameplay. Hopefully, someone can offer some insight as to how well the game should run on a pc of my specs. Here they are. (My PC is 2 years old)

OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
CPU: Intel i7 3770 @ 3.4Ghz - 8 core
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 7800 series - 2GB
RAM: 24 GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz (800 X2)
256GB - SSD
2TB HDD

Game would be installed on hard drive, not on solid state drive (I reserve that for the OS).

Thanks.

This should be interesting....

Here's mine. I already pre-ordered the game by way of Steam so, hopefully I can pull off running this game. I have yet to honestly play one that has bottle-necked, but there's always a first time for everything, right?

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 660
OS(es): Windows 8.1 / Arch Linux

Can I run Cities: Skylines?
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @3.00Ghz
GPU: Ati Radeon HD 4850
RAM: 6GB DDR2

I used systemrequirementslab.com and gamedebate.com and they both said I could run it, but I just want to make sure on the forums.

Welcome to the forum
Your gpu is recommended, cpu better than minimum, so the game will run.

Welcome to the forum
Your cpu is about minimum, your gpu doesn't support directX 11, so no, the game will not run.
