Well if you look at WW2 not as World War 2 but as a war where the industrialization and automation of industry revolutionized the way to act out war then yes it would still eventually happen and in such a chain of converters HOI4 would still be quite important.

Can't forget the ideologies. Defeated parties from WW1, that didn't have Commu/Socialist revolutions would almost certainly swing fascist. The three sets of blocs would form relatively naturally. Hell, Victoria's crisis system alone tends to create longstanding political alliances. You port that into a WW1 scenario (either end of Victoria or a stand-alone WW1 module for HoI4) and you'll be able to set things up rather easily.

It will feature a trade system where in multiplayer you can trade ammo and weapon with each other... I've done extensive market research and found this is what our fans want!

Agreed. Near the end of every Vicky 2 game, nations with lost cores start going fascist; whoever that is will obviously be the aggressors in the converted HoI4. It would take some very clever event scripting to ensure that a war begins sometime before 1941, and even more clever number-jiggering to ensure that each faction has at least a slim chance of winning, but it certainly wouldn't be any more difficult to implement than a quality EU4->VickyX converter.

The heads of the Axis and Commintern would be the fascist/communist nations with the highest scores at the end of Vicky; the head of the Allies could be determined with a simple formula: (score)x(1.5 if pro-military, 2 if jingoist)/(2 if not on same continent as head of Axis or Commintern), exempting pacifist nations and non-democracy/HMs.

This sounds like an episode of Doctor Who. Every time Queen Victoria dies her death cry is 'I am not amused!'.

Should work on a V3 commence, I would be more than willing to aid in the development process. I may have been scarce the last couple years here in Paradoxia but, should I receive the call, I am more than willing to take up the challenge the deveopment of V3 would require.
