Some clouds were green, others blue, white, grey, purple, yellow, and other arrays of color. Many came out and marveled at the beauty of these, for none had seen its like. At the setting of the twelfth day a rainbow arch over the world more beautiful than any other but then it twisted violently. The colors became as flames and spread across the clouds. As these flames liked the clouds rain fell. It was no ordinary rain though, it was blood. For another twelve days this blood rain fell onto the denizens of the world. Those caught in it became sick from fever, and soon vomited out their own insides; blood drained from their eye, ears, noses, and mouths. For twelve days people died violent helpless hopeless deaths. As the gods attempted to stop this rain they lost power yet knew who sent this calamity. (+36 power. All other players lose either 1 or 2 power. 2) Mikkel Glahder - A black knight with red eyes rode into the lands south of Alakiva. Under him where the souls of the fanequesti. They swirled through the night air and crashed down to take those who were sinful away to join their numbers. Wherever the knight touched ground he offered riches for subservience, and many bowed down to him. (+468 worshippers) . These forsaken fanequesti that followed the knight are the dead of his people. They are what he uses to give out his fury and hunt the heretics, the infidels, the faithless, the sinful, and the unaffiliated. 3) Brovahkiin - The grand desert of Ionia erupted in the center(+5 power). From it a great plume of ash fell upon the surrounding landscape blackening the soil. Now the dune sea is a marble pattern of white and black sand that stretches further than ever before. The dragonmen patrol its edges relentlessly in hopes of better appeasing their dragon master, just as the dragons work to fan the flames of Mt. Draco to appease their father, Io. (+6 power)
4) Galren - During a golden age the disparate Tharingian tribes were united by their mad faith. A particularly powerful king One day the opulent king had grown weary though by dreams. None of his advisors could interpret them for him, the curse of their god's madness. One day though the King of Tharingia was approached by veiled monks. They told him what his dreams mean, and the king asked them their names. Their response, Kanassans. In gratitude he offered them anything, their request was to release the Galrenic people from servitude. In greed he denied them. The following night a great fever dream battered him and soon the king fell to his knees at the sight f Votyx's true form. When he woke the next day he was blind, mute, and deaf. All who had stood guard over the Galernics were as well, and their captives fled in the night.(+1 power, 1168). In their escape from the lands of madness the Galrenics encountered a strange beast. It was large with a thick hide, a massive neck, three legs, and scorpion like tail. It spoke to them without words, it mind obviously animalistic but capable of telepathy. They named it, and all like it, Telethia and so forth proclaimed it a creature of Votyx. (+15 power).
5) Tapscott - In response to the exodus of the Galrenics K'Thang K'Thang gave his people increased strength making them larger and better fighters as well as marking them with antlers at puberty to signify their allegiance.. (+2 power). Worried about this lose of warriors and his followers preaching for more trade he sent them to strike at the sea peoples. The antlered armies of Tharingia rode on their elks into the lines of the footed scythemen. They tried to flee on their boats but these where soon dragged down by the shapeless men. These sea people where subjugated but spoke of how they were one tribe of many, and how their god Absalia would strike at them. To show the dominance of K'Thang K'Thang the Tharingians mutilated the statue to Absalia, casting its remnants into the sea. With this new port Tharingia has opened up new trade possibilities. 6) Viola - As the Tharingians expanded so did the lands of the unconquered sun. Lead by the demigods known as Champions of the Sun they defeated and converted many smaller tribes around them pushing east into new unknown territories. (+612 worshippers). They came across an odd mountain range and scaled it with their god's guiding light. They found a beautiful land filled with people ripe for conquest. They charged in killing many and placing threefold in chains. Yet as they did so mighty beasts came down and struck at them. Soon the champions where routed and only escaped with the help of the Seraphim's intervention but even they began to be cut down. The false god which lived here was too powerful for the armies of the light..... for now. (-156 worshippers, -2 power.)
