Earth flag

I suppose that alien species/factions will have a randomly generated flag, emblem, logo or what have you.

But what should the flag of humans from Earth look like?
Here are four candidates:

1. The International Flag of the Planet Earth

2. The Flag of the United Nations

3. James W. Cadle's Flag of Earth

4. John McConnell's Earth Day flag

I personally like flag #1, but would like to hear from you what your preference is.
Feel free to post other flags other than those above, or even design your own.

I would prefer corporate flags and emblems, because I think it is far more likely that it would be corporations that would be running things beyond earth.

UN flag, or rather a clever variation of it for possible copyright reasons, would simply be the most realistic option.

The James Cadle flag also has some good ideas in it, though that flag specifically isn't to my taste. With Cadle's design in mind, hypothetically humans could fly a flag similar to the Pioneer Plaque:

Something simple that serves to explain the nature and origin of humans all in one banner. A flag that says, "this is us, we're from this part of the galaxy, hello world!"
But of course, this really isn't an option given the graphical design choices for the game. But it's fun to hypothesize!

At least by today's international laws (they might of course change when North Korea conquers everything) nations are forbidden from owning clay in Space, so most definitely corporations would have to pioneer space colonisation.
