Just wanted to pass on that it seems to still be working. I started up a game with WoL and HIP and a few other mods and first thing I did was check the cardinal screen and didn't crash. I rushed through about 10 years and no watched cardinals come and go (but the Pope didn't die so don't know if that's working).

I loaded it up without any mods or the two most recent DLC, and the game crashes as soon as I click the religion tab.

Not trying to make you sound dumb, but sometimes the simplest is the best solution. You did use the last DL posted along with the .gfx fix, right? If yes, not sure why it would crash for you but not others. Maybe it needs SoA DLC?

I was, yeah. Got it to work after wiping it clean and reinstalling it a few times. Not sure why, but it's working for the moment. I'm playing an intricate game of holy politics at the moment, so I'll give mention if I run into anything else unusual.

Is it not already? I've yet to run into any issues.

Never mind I had an old version that somehow still worked. Now I'm getting crashes.

The files from jordarkelf on page 8 seem to be working in my current game. Note that I'm also using HIP and a few other mods as well. The files from OP on page 1 don't work anymore though, use jordarkelf's files.

Having an uneven number of cardinals will not make a tie impossible, as there are more than two candidates.

Hence why two-thirds of the cardinals was required. Could something be changed to have this implemented?

Glad to see my quick fix for this still works even in RIP -- no other mods required ☺

@Drakken to the best of my knowledge the Curia election is unscriptable, so would require a Paradox code change.
