Fire in your belly + ice in your stomach = ???

I am the assassin, I was given orders by De Chatillion to do so.

I apologize for not being up a deadline the past few days. I've been sleeping in quite late.

That last voting was awesome. I love these scenarios of three last players, It always reminds me:

Really good movie indeed. Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone really are great. Lets see if this lures out @Gen. Skobelev.

Also why not post a vid?

Now that you guys made fun of how we in Scandinavia celebrate the eves: Does that mean that in other places you celebrate New Years on the 1st and not on the 31st?

No, you silly.

We celebrate New Year's on the 1st and Old Year's on the 31st xD

EDIT: So actually, yes. But I don't think that also works for our English and American friends.

Both. Get hammered on the 31st, lay around at family gatherings on the 1st.

Why seperate the two, get hammered with your family if you are so inclined. It saves you the bother of going there with a hangover on the 1st.

So you don't gather with friends or family on the 31st for a big New Years dinner? (Here there isn't really anything on the 1st.) You gather sometime in the afternoon and the queen's speech is at 6 PM sharp and of course you have to watch that---most of the nation does. It always starts with the life guard parading outside of the royal palace.

Do you also jump down from a chair exactly at midnight on the night between the 31st and the 1st? And do you then run out to fire fireworks?
By the way fireworks are really restricted here---and with good reason. It can be sold from something like the 17th of December until the 31st of December. You are only allowed to ignite it from the 27th of December until the 1st of January. You used to be allowed to sell it from the 1st of December until the 31st and use it from the 1st of December until the 5th of January, but that was changed after the fireworks disaster in the Kolding suburb of Seest which leveled most of the suburb a little more than a decade ago.

A few minutes before 6 PM the royal guard arrives in front of the palace.

It remain there during the speech and then after the speech one of the national anthems (the royal one) is played and the guard marches back inside.

A hangover?
Of course; which also is the reason all the TV channels airs hangover TV that day.

Also found a few videos showing just how immense the Seest disaster was. Seeing some of the videos reminds me of that Tianjin explosion; it has always chilled me seeing those Seest videos.

This is what it looks like when 284 tons of net explosive (i.e. many many more tons of actual fireworks) goes up in flames (and destroys an entire suburb).

The main explosion measured 2.2 on the richter scale and sent large, massive iron girders and large pieces of concrete flying for hundreds of meters...

Though luckily no civilians died (many were injured though), but sadly 1 firefighter died.

Found an English vid; it isn't correct as it states that they stored too much. They were allowed to store up to 300 tons of net explosive; they stored 284 tons of net explosive.

@Gen. Marshall @madchemist and other scientists here who might find it interesting. 49 seconds into this video you can actually see the pressure wave of one of the explosions... Says quite a bit about how much went off...

Alright, let me explain myself a bit more:

I contacted Kaiser earlier in the game, however he died soon afterwards.

I'm an assassin, pass this along to those that need to know.

De Chatillôn said:
Great. Probably I could give you instructions tomorrow. Thank you.

Will stand by for orders.

De Chatillôn said:
Jerman, we need you to send the assasion orden with:

Rovsea
Backup Hazbot
Backup Ironhide

Confirm that you've recieved. Thanks

Of course, I missed this, but thankfully, Rovsea was leader lynched by Chatillon.

Anyways, so I set that as my order yesterday.

( I thought I posted this earlier, I apparently I didn't)

The New Years public holidays here are the 1st and 2nd, though the partying starts on the evening of the 31st of course.

Since the 25th and 26th are also public holidays and they get Mondayised if they fall on the weekend, three or four days of annual leave gives you a huge block of holidays, so most people do that. So there's not really a fixed pattern.

Best I can tell, New Years' Eve is the party day, and New Years Day is the hungover day, which is very graciously a day off.

Wait, we're doing a holiday mostly on the Eve?

Oh, God. We've became Scandinavians.
