That reminds me of a BFD-English dictionary/phrasebook I was working on recently. Here are some excerpts:
"You don't scare me" - I have minefields and your engineers are on the other side of the map
"I propose an alliance" - I am going to stab you in the back in literally less than an hour
"He could take you out in one turn but it depends on where your supply caches are" - I am trying to trick you into telling me where your supply caches are so I can take you out in one turn
"That was just a small demonstration of my power" - I have no offensive units left
"We are a peaceful nation" - I am willing to sell out my allies to get you to attack them instead
"I declare war" - I am trying to take out a player on the other side of the map from you
"I am a turtle" - I won the last game and am now concerned the other players are going to try to stomp me
