So you've put yourself in a position where you're invested in the defeat of who could essentially be the Great Other itself? I know that seems to be an insane thing to call him, but what would you call an Other with over a million soldiers underneath them?

That made me laugh a little, I won't lie. In all seriousness though, since you control part of Essos, the Others are coming after you eventually if they break through Ghiscar. Could you perhaps post screenshots from time to time to show us how things are going?

Yeah, that's the main problem with the mod. It gets boring once you get the highest prize.

There is little we can do to change that I am afraid, however there are a few things you can do yourself.
If you don't already try role playing your character, play by their traits and take actions that their character would even if you know that from a game play point of view it would be a bad idea.
Once you get to the top try and artificially create a bad scenario, get the crown in debt like Robert did or father many bastards and have your own Blackfyre Rebellion.
If you really want to spice things up once you get to the top console switch to another house and play with them.

These are a few of the things I do to keep my game fresh and long lasting :)

Not a bad idea. I'll try this the next time I feel like playing.

You forgot becoming a dragon rider with all the intel, give every member of your family an egg, land all your children, and then wait for the inevitable Dance of Dragons.

The mad king of the ghiscari empire, well fragmented empire, it seems the only roadblock the eastern others faced has somehow self destructed, at one point Daenerys held most of all this land and had over 50,000 men at arms, now theres only 2 targaryens left both dragon riders, and 5 wild dragons just causing hell all over the land.

then you have the realm of King Aerys the Tyrant, former pirate and conqueror of the free cities and the seven kingdoms, dragon rider and faithful follower to the lord of light.

.....Madness, madness and stupidity

How can Others have so much troops? When I play (in AFFC start), they always have maximally few tens of thousands and they could even take whole North and still have about 40k (and they always lose during their invasions). And even getting to North takes them so much time that all wars end and they face univide Iron Throne.

They have 100% troop levies from all their winter wastelands so they get loads of troops to fight with so it becomes exponentially harder to beat them the more they conquer

In this case it's the event spawned troops. Of the 1,312,910 soldiers the Other has under their command, 1,278,109, or about 97% of their manpower, comes from event troops. I'm curious what could give them more men than every army of Westeros and Essos though....

We now have a tie for the most interesting man in Westeros.

Yeah, that´s what I usually find problematic. They just don´t get those event spawned troops. Few thousand maximally and they always get wrecked by Iron Throne.

Just noticed - this maester also had a bastard daughter with a slave one of Pentoshi lords took from Braavos, but she died stillborn.

We've also had, I think, a maester/septon and a Kingsguard in the Night's Watch. I can't remember the page though sadly. Actually, in hindsight I think he's winning right now, the other two didn't have a strange culture/religion combination if memory serves.

thought id console command over and take a inside look at life as "the others"

ck2_12.png

looks like hes not liked too much..but hey its okay because he has no vassals apparently,no rebels pop up either due to the "winter wasteland effect"

There's a concerning fact: he has most of his million plus troops in a single county with no attrition. That's not a doom stack, that's a gamebreaker. Also, are most of those event troops supposed to be the men that were killed in battle against the Other? Because if I'm reading from the right source, the whole of Essos, including the Free Cities and Slavers bay, has a combined population of a few tens of millions, with most of this probably located in those locations. At present, this single Other has more soldiers under his command than the population of any of the Free Cities and is actually approaching the lowest estimates for the combined population of Westeros...

He has whole population of Yi Ti though. And if you think about that, 1,3 million is comparable to 5 Westerosi cities. It sounds like a lot, but honestly, I think it´s reasonable number.
1,3 million doomstack is really wrong though...only big dragons could defeat that army.
