Games over?

Alright, GG Npstr. I really lost my touch.

No reverse Rovseaing for me :(.

I have to say, getting that card right off the bat really screwed me.

Well, there's only so much one can do when he's the only spy people were even willing to consider putting on teams. I was hoping someone would get paranoid about that last proposal and the way I handed out the cards and make some people suspicious of npstr and Panzer.

So is Jerman using reverse psychology to make us think his spymate(s?) is(are?) on the team, or is he trying to exploit that to make us approve a team with his spymate(s?) on it. I don't think he's been clever enough this game to suggest the latter, so I'm thinking this team might be clear. Would also explain his bizarre accusation of happycats. He wants his claimed spy team to include at least one of his actual spymates, but doesn't want to implicate them either by making a case against them. Which is why he has articulated reasons he suspects Npstr and me, yet has repeatedly refused to explain why he thinks Happycats is a spy.

This makes sense to me.

Approve

I really need to change my approach lol.

I apologize for being such a shitty spymate.

Your general lack of contribution didn't help matters. Nor your refusal to explain why you claimed Happycats was a likely spy, which led me to correctly conclude he was your spymate.

Spies in general this game were too laid back and that allowed the resistance to get a clear mission 1, which is a big win since mission 4 with its double sabotage then becomes certain to occur.

And I think I should take some of the blame for this defeat. I guess I just didn't put in enough effort to get myself on teams.

I think this one is on me and my idiotic opening strategy.

My original train of thought would be to make people suspect that both Npstr and I were both spies, thus allowing you and Happycats to due what you wanted for most of the game.

I still don't get your move about giving me that card Jerman.

€dit: Emu'd.

I did get paranoid. But there was no reason to consider all those possibilities until we had the M4 result.

Well I didn't want to give it to Tamius or Happycats as that would associate me with them, which is not what I wanted to do, because if someone else checked me later in game, then they would know for a fact that Tamius/Happycats was also a spy.

I was never certain between Tamius and Panzer. But it hardly mattered, since the mission 3 team was all but cleared, and just one spy on mission 4 was no threat. If panzer proposed something other than himself + mission 3, then it was tantamount to a spy confession. With Falc and Jacksonian next in the leader order, even his NC wasn't a serious threat. Mission 3 succeeding more or less won the game for the resistance, even if a spy got to hand out the cards for mission 4.

There's not really a perfect solution in that scenario, but the important thing no matter which option you choose was to contribute and pretend to act in the resistance's interest. Your general inactivity, lack of explanation in key areas, and extreme swiftness to declare the game lost all hurt your credibility more than being accused by npstr. Though I was somewhat paranoid that you were acting like such an obvious spy that you were covering for npstr who was also a spy. Luckily I eventually got over that fear.

I hope my running of the game was satisfactory for everyone.

And while I can appreciate the effort when others do it, I see little point in flavor for Resistance.

It was run well. I also don't much care for flavour in Resistance, but I don't care much in it for Werewolf either.

I'm always Resistance. Always.

@Cliges: tyvm. I liked your use of the deadline to cut those missing votes in obvious scenarios.

I'd volunteer to GM a game, but I could start it probably earliest on Friday or Saturday. If noone else volunteers I'll open signups on Tuesday.

Was it just me, or did the leader order and the cards tend to disproportionately favor Resistance this time?

Sorry for missing the one vote you made. My vision is really awful.
