Playing as France in SP we just won against the Axis.
Because of that I tried to pull my bluewater Fleet from Japan back to Europe.
It just wouldn't follow my move order to a new port.
I tried it a few times, deselecting and reselecting it via the fleet overview, when suddenly it was gone from both the map and the overview.
I wasn't at war at the time, so it couldn't have been destroyed (the whole fleet at once nevertheless, without any notification whatsoever).
The game itself started to lag quite a lot before this happend, which might of caused this.

Another thing that was quite strange, not sure if intended: While Allies and Axis were in the war against Axis, poland seperated into two countrys. They declared war against each other, then the Soviets joined on the seperatists-side. Shortly after, the war against germany and the one comintern vs poland were merged.
But in the merged war, comintern and allies were still fighting the axis.
As soon as the Axis was beaten, the old war (part of the allies against comintern) was restored.

DLC Information: All.
Mods: None.

logs and savegame attached.
After the fleet vanished, I briefly reloaded the savegame inorder to check out whether it was just a GUI bug.

while we are at it, the event "Election: Magnate Favors Fascism" was missing the tooltip for the second option - "Remove all motorized_equipment_manufacturer". Seen this reported here for German republic already:

That bit looks OK. Doesn't happen very often, but countries other than Spain can have civil wars. :)

You would expect the Soviets to step in and help the communists. Since the Non-Aligned Poland has probably joined the Allies then that would put the Soviets into a war with the Allies.

Where was it based, while it was fighting in the Pacific? Did you own the state or did it belong to someone else?

Is the save game file from before or after the fleet disappeared?

But as I said, the war allies vs comintern was "merged" into the war allies+comintern vs axis.
As long as that war wasn't resolved, even the polands were fighting along each other.
As the peacetreaty for the merged war was signed, the poland war returned without me even noticing it at first...

The savegame is directly after the fact, since it's iron there is no other :/
It was based at a core harbour of mine.
During trying to move it I actually managed to change it's homeport (btw the german tooltip is missing an h in heimathafen) to a new one, but I couldn't get it to move into/towards
it.
Also I tried giving it patrolorders in order to get it to move, which wouldnt work either. But just before it vanished I assigned a halt order, the fleet was correctly visible as unit on the map, and the seasectors next to the fleet were marked in red with the same look as the green assigned markings.

They actually ceased the civil war? That's definitely not right. I guess that save file is not during this period then, it is from after?

Please provide a screenshot showing which tooltip you are referring to, or type it word for word in German and translate it please. I don't speak German so I can't work out which one it would be.

Which home bases was it moving to/from? How did you halt it if still in it's base, or was it moving at the time to a new base?

Again screenshots would be brilliant to try to understand what was happening here.

Yes-both polands were allied during the anti-axis war. And yes, savegame is shortly after the axis-war ended and now USSR is eating the real poland.

It wasn't in base, that's what I was trying to do!
I tried reenacting it with another fleet:
First how it was during the war. (Stationed in Algeria because I didnt know you had to ctrl-click to asign homebase). Also highlighted the missing h in the homeport tooltip.

then, after further trying, it's homeport was already asigned to Bretagne but it itself would not react to my move orders. In the process I halted it from it's previous patrol orders (as they were in screenshot 1), so it was visible on the map roundabout were I put the SS fleet marker. As I couldnt get it to move/a move order arrow on the map, I tried giving it a patrol order, to check out whether it would react to that. and this is how it looked afterwards, with the neighbouring regions being marked in red. As it looked like that, I tried to asign a patrol sector in the south chinese sea, but I accidently left clicked while doing so, so the fleet was deselected. And then I couldn't find it no more.
Also added another missing text in the lower left.

I'll try to have my hands on the screenshot button when something weird happens the next time....
