Hello all and welcome to BFD Game 10 - Blitz, Blitz, and Blitz Some More.

While I spent much of this morning planning a devious new map, we'll do signups before I finalize it. So sign-ups are now open. If you want to play, please sign up by posting that you want in.

Sign-ups will last two days. Then I'll count everyone up. If we have 7 or fewer players, then I'll make one map for everyone. If we have 8 or more, I'll split it up into two games.

This game we're going to nerf Fighting Weather, but more about that later. For now, just sign up if you want in.

(As usual, you can't sign up if you're on my banlist.)

Welcome. I'd suggest looking at a few games before deciding a strategy for this one, otherwise you may be steamrolled.

About 24 more hours to sign up. We currently have 7 people signed up.
 
I just finished an exam, so I think I'm good for this one.

Okay, sign ups are now closed. Since 10 people signed up, that means I'll have to run two games at once Game 10 and Game 11. Sending BFD veterans to play with newbs is like sicking a pitbull on a baby, so the 3 most experienced players are assigned to Game 10, and the 3 least experienced players are assigned to Game 11, with the intermediate 4 split between the two games.

Game 11 will go up shortly, after I finalize the map. The same map will be used for both games.

Game 10: (Veterans)
Gen. Marshall [veteran]
barkardes [veteran]
Rovsea [veteran]
Haresus [regular]
aedan777 [regular]

Game 11: (Less Experienced)
JermanTK [green]
jeray2000 [green]
Duke Dan "the Man" [green]
Dexander [regular]
Canadian_95_RTS [regular]

How assignments were determined:
Gen. Marshall, barkardes, and Rovsea have all won at least one game, so they were all assigned to the Veterans game immediately. JermanTK and jeray2000 have never played before, so I assigned them to Game 11, plus Duke Dan, who has only played one game.

That left Haresus, aedan777, Dexander, and Canadian_95_RTS, all of whom have played about the same amount of BFD and have never won a game. I arbitrarily assigned Haresus and aedan777 to Game 10 and Dexander and Canadian_95_RTS to game 11. For these players, the assignment was not made at random, but your assignment does not necessarily reflect how good I think you are at BFD.

In future games I may mix up veterans and newbs, although this is potentially deeply unfair to the newbs.
 
Game 11 players, feel free to ask me for advice if you need some. Don't expect me to dictate your moves, but I should be in a better position to help you with most matters than Thunder, seeing as his hands are tied by GM impartiality :)
 
Sounds like a much better way to do it.
