predictions on when CK III might come out?

As long as Paradox is continuing to support CKII, I'm content and won't send Paradox an ultimatum threatening to raise my levies in rebellion of they refuse.

Don't you mean join the siege? The PI tower has been sieged by the Vicky III uprising for years.

It's more likely when they develop a new and improved game engine. They can only do so much with Clausewitz though when you look at the versions used for Stellaris and Hearts of Iron IV, the engine is incredible.

Crusader Kings 2 defined the Clausewitz 2 engine

I have no idea. I stopped keeping track because it feels like it's been going to end a few times already.

CKII devs have stated several times that the expansion they are working on now will be small. Then they will do a large one, and possibly a final small one after that. And then it'll be over.
