Idea:Paradox Mega Campaign Dev clash?

I think it would be really cool if The Devs did a Mega campaign, it would be really interesting, plus there aren't a lot of Mega campaigns out there anyways, at lest not many up-to-date new ones. the idea itself sounds fun(At lest in my Opinion) and it would be interesting to see a almost complete alternate history made by the Devs.

Would probably take too much time, and also, the only official converter is the CK2 to EUIV one, and it work if it happen to have a good day.

That would be the point. Start out with all the staff - and have only a few massive powers by HOI4 for an all out slug fest world war where only one wins.

I'm sure we'll need to wait for Vicky 3 before we ever see an official EU->Vicky converter. God knows what version of EU we'll be on by that point? (Will we ever see a new version - or just iterative development of EU4 thru patches and DLC?)

Well the Devs said they have 2 expansions for CK2 LEFT and EU came after so they will eventrually stop making DLCs and patches for it sometime.

True ofc, but I think that that won't be before the release of Victoria because:
CK2 had three DLC's left when HoI4 came out (2 major and one minor, one major has been released now), so by that logic EU4 will have 3 left too when Vic3 is released (if it is released).

And that is leaving multiple possibilities out:
1. They make the converter a preorder bonus for Vic (like with EU4)
2. EU4 won't follow that logic and will have an presently unknown amount of dlc after the release of Vicky...
3. It is released as Victoria dlc (select the savegame, game will find the EU4 folder itself)
4. It's added as a free-lc (as should have happened for the EU4 converter as €10 is not cheap for a converter that works like it presently does, even if it'd gotten some love last months) even if they stopped development like that random patch for Vic2

it just seemed like you were implying you thought they would update it forever with Patches and DLCs, a misunderstanding on my part
