Hopefully CK3 comes along soon and the series goes back to being about the Middle Ages and dynasties rather than whatever pop-fantasy stuff it is now.

Aren't those in DLC's ? if yes, just don't buy the DLC you don't like the content off...

its obvious 2525 and it will have all what was added as DLC in the basegame now like india and so on. Ofc it will cost then the same as CK2 with all DLCs together and then we will get a lot lovely china and unit skin dlcs :3 sounds like heaven for me. So give them the time to forge this masterpiece and collect your money to buy it a grea futur await us.
From memory Johan said it in an interview years ago. That the game wasn't just about crusading kings anymore, it was about the whole medieval experience across the old world.
But he also said the brand is too strong now, they can't change the name. So even if they're not happy with the name crusader kings, it'll still be CK3

Yeah, I'm pretty sure at this point if they tried to get rid of the "Crusader Kings" title from the brand, the marketing department would have them killed in nasty ways. CK2 got them a lot of popularity and notice, throwing that away would be crazy.
On the bright side, that would introduce new "death sounds."

How about naming it "Crazy Kings 3" would still be CK3 and it's nobody's business where to start counting
