Let me actually make a different explanation for the RNG. RNG works like this, your units always miss, their units always hit AND when they hit they crit. Everytime.

And what is with the system in Men of War?

Are you channeling Quill18 ;) ?

In men of war it isn't a hitscan, bullets are physical objects that fly in a trajectory and hits at certain angles and may or may not penetrate.

I certainly hope not.

so....just like wargame? air combat between relatively equal planes in wargame is basically flipping a coin to see who wins

Yeah, except if everything is 1 HP and the armour system is still very basic it won't be chance to hit RNG it will be chance to kill RNG, which will be even worse I think.

Those bars you see are an indicator of a unit's morale.
Well **** me. 43 hours of European Escalation and 12 hours of Red Dragon, and only now do I realise those aren't hit point bars.

The more you know :p .

No, in Red Dragon they are hit point bars. Red Dragon shows morale in text below the unit's name. He's suggesting that the ones in the screenshots that have been released are moral bars.

Yes, exactly. This is what we've suspected for awhile, but it was later confirmed in one of the various articles. Of course the journalist may have been wrong, but I think he was almost certainly reporting accurately.

Reminds me of the supression system in Brothers in Arms: Road to hill thirty

The supression system there was quite good gameplay wise, and the whole game reminded me of COD 2 Multiplayer for some reason.. Nostalgia <3

They were used for just about everything by the end... but there was no operational unit of them until until October 3rd. After Meteor, funnily enough.

Yes, but we aren't at the 'scraping the barrel' phase and they weren't sent into Normandy to attack ground targets like Hitler had always wanted them to. I think the only action they had in France was fleeing it.

I sure hope they will do something for aircombat. If it is just like wargame, we will see lots of headons and it will look even more plain than in wargame.
Not to mention that fighters will have a hard time intercepting enemy bombers, especially before they drop their payload.
Also they should definitely make evac by going towards the side they came from.
