Well it seems the English are for a rough time 
Altough better than if it was a strong Anglois militia, maybe the Armée Royale may be able to counter the extremists during the "pacification" (However from a gameplay POV, a glorious revolution crushed ... well Northern England does get some nasty modifiers)

Tbh, unless the game has been modded, the terrible terrible French dominated Dual-Monarchy will never be able to accept the English!
I'm all for the Anglois ideal, but too many of these sudden loyalists are the very same who wish for a restoration of those most hated de Valois!
I daresay the English are the most loyal to the Plantagenets themselves, even as the Parisian Parliament desires a perverse sort of rapprochement with the true rebels who have been allowed to exist for far too long in the rebel province of Provence!
Regardless of the outcome of this insurrection, all rebels must be crushed, and especially those rebels whom have been tolerated to exist for far too long.
