Well that is quite silly since demonic magic has been Fel since warcraft three (red orcs directly imbued with demonic blood being fel orcs, demons being named felguard, felhunter etc.)I was referring to calling it The Fel, which I can't recall it ever being used up until at least Burning Crusade. The only WC source I've ever seen use that term is the movie, which was an abomination.
No one ever used a capital F or T tho.Fel just means bad. Felgaurd, Fel Orcs, fine. But referring to demonic power as "The Fel", not "fel magic", not "fel power", not "fel energies", but "The Fel." Capital T, capital F, The Fel.
It's different. Anyway, I was mostly trying to make a tongue in cheek half-joke. The movie cut out the Burning Legion entirely man![]()
The high and blood elf children share the troll and night elf ears cuz it made my life easier to just use the same portrait in different colorsThey look quite promising, I love the Kaldorei ones. Although, if I may make a suggestion, I believe Quel'dorei ears stand more upright and perchance for the sake of variety you could play around with it? Aside that, I'm -really- looking forward to being able to play and seeing all the artwork in the game. Will the Troll one get a bit more polished?
How much did you pay? Because that sounds like it adds up to ~ $36 and if you paid any more for the movie you essentially got nothing free. Just a cheap movie.
I literally saw this project, learned to mod and talked to BlackDragon. Took me most of a single day and bam, here I am. Modding CK2 is occasionally infuriating, but otherwise easy. A lot of people seem to think it involves programming, but it doesn't. It's just text files.IIRC it was either £8 or £10, so $12-15 I think. Pretty good, I felt, since the WoW month is at least £5 by itself.
As for all the portraits and the mod, it's looking great. I wish I had the time and know-how to contribute, but sadly my CK2 modding skills are somewhat limited.

And hopefully all portraits will be refined more, atm none of the childrens skin tones match the adults etc.

Im starting to worry that i have learned so much while doing X races that when i get to Orc females (first female set i will do after all major Male sets are done(not because of sexism, more that the males are far more important in history and as thus a higher priority) they will far outdo the orc males in quality (the first ever portrait set i did)....
Its mostly just there to distinguish between the wildhammer and bronzebeard dwarves before and during the war of the three hammers.By the Naaru! Those male Draenei look quite impressive, they look really well! The variety in horns and hair already add a lot.
As for the Wildhammer facepaint, it's -okay-. It's not all too good but it's not bad either. It's a nice little extra which by you can recognize Wildhammers.
It mostly just looks purple because its a half transparent layer of blue on beige which makes it more purple than dark blue, will edit that so its pure blue sometime... probably. Is the purple just placeholder texture? Because otherwise they look more like Twilight's Hammer than Wildhammer
