The great cull of 2019 will long be remembered. Great shows and good shows and even terrible shows could not escape the hard realities of this business we call show. Mediocre show 30 Rock finally came to an end when it was revealed that producers had intended to make 30 Rock a jumping point for a new Tina Fey Cinematic Universe. Quality teevee program My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic had to be cancelled due to obsessive and rabid bronies harassing the cast and crew. Why, even a critically-acclaimed show like Tales from the Crypt was tragically cut short in its prime! Why must the good die young?!

To make things worse, another critically-acclaimed tv show was cancelled. The Learning Channel issued a statement wherein they announced they would not be picking up a new season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo after Honey Boo Boo was caught on video in a profanity-laced tirade against a litter of radioactive piglets before devouring them alive. She will be missed.
